Quit temporary. I have totally stopped for 4 months and could probably extend the stoppage until next CNY.

QUOTE(QiW @ Oct 2 2014, 03:17 PM) nothing wrong ... dunno much about walkera fpv stuff... good enough for me. the fpv 400 coax seems quite a good deal. devo f4 w/ LCD, camera dv04, rx/tx for video and a fairly large coax with 380 motors. quite outdoor worthy i guess for beginner FPV. all for under 1k. used to own a few walkeras ... not cheap but quality ok plus, the FPV electronics can be reuse on other 4 channel stuff with the help of rx-601 receiver. so even if you outgrow the heli, the FPV electronics can still be carried over. sounds like a good plan for a poor man's FPV solution? |

QUOTE(QiW @ Oct 2 2014, 03:39 PM) coax by nature does not handle wind well ... unless u flying full scale then it will be much much better laa ... hahaha hehe...that's actually more expensive than the walkera fpv400. i'm looking at ~RM800 RTF here. plus:for rm1k ...excluding batt and charger and radio set DIY quad ... rm400 camera .. rm100 vtx and vrx ... rm300+ cheapo LCD from brothers acc .. rm100+ 1. me no experience building/flying a quad = probably adds to cost 2. me no experience building FPV setup = more cost 3. me no have programmable radio set = add to cost 4. me fly HBFPv2 now, so i do have spare 380 motors = win (i guess should be upgradable to eXtreme 380 motors too) 5. fpv 400 close to HBFPv2's size = probably can salvage some stuff if the heli really sucks. (at least they use the same batteries. 6. probably can transfer most of the electronics to my HB if the heli fails. so i guess in my situation, the RTF walkera would be the best/cheapest path for my 1st FPV flight. sure coax<multi rotors, but hey at least it's a 2feet long coax, so it'll probably survive minor winds due to the extra weight alone. my only issue is it's hard to find a decent review on the thing. thanks for the cost estimation. at least i know how much i could save. btw, you could really get a decent DIY quad for RM400? care to share specs? QUOTE(QiW @ Oct 3 2014, 06:57 AM) yes i can DIY a decent quad for around rm400 hey, thanks. great info there. just had a look up on the controller manual. looks kinda errr....doable. Hi guys I'm planning to get a cheap RC Quad : looked through lelong and got interested in these babies :
http://www.lelong.com.my/walkera-qr-w100s-...5-06-Sale-P.htm or http://list.lelong.com.my/Auc/List/List.as...d=&PriceUBound= or http://www.lelong.com.my/syma-x6-2-4g-4ch-...7-01-Sale-I.htm I would like the first one buy expensive but it is fpv! or get others then buy a seperate cam. Though the Syma x5c n x6 does come with a cemera which is great! |
