wow, that quadcopter of yrs looks really well built..good for you..hahaha

no special reason for turnigy 9x, just worried for future problems if i get others since turnigy 9x is well recommended by so many people. someone told me that devo transmitters are not good so i'm just taking that advise.

devo f7 is available at timesquare 6th floor (rm750 without the camera) devo 7 and 10 also available. i'm considering devo F7 since the FPV is built in at the remote but i dont want to regret. so hard to decide sad.gif

i didnt build the quad myself, donno how lol. bought already assembled just need install receiver

turnigy 9x and flysky th9x is basically the same. turnigy 9xr is different from them. devo 10 at berjaya how much? i'd rather get devo10 if price almost same as f7. if want fpv can always buy the parts for fpv later

i'm new to RC flying, and i would like to build a quadcopter for some learning and weekend flying

planning to build one that is expandable to octocopter so that when i get good with a quad i will move on and upgrade then mount my DSLR with a gimbal underneath it

planning to get some parts from Rotorbits in Hobby King site so roughly how much budget i should be looking at if let's say i would like to build a medium size quad, then later upgrade to hexa or octo hmm.gif

flight controller should be reusable with different programming and motor also can reuse right? hmm.gif

if u build a simple frame just for flying around ... it costs less than rm10 for the frame
just dump the old one and build a new one when u upgrade ... hahaha
most controllers that can fly a quad can handle an octo
motors and escs ... just get another 4 of the same ones when u upgrade to octo from quad

is there any local sellers/shops i can get those parts like motor, propeller flight controller etc etc?

shipment from Hobbyking is kinda expensive (EMS is around RM50 under 1KG) since i'm planning to build bit by bit

then decide and look for what to buy ...
