Nice.... Now seems like quadcopter era...

Just got my very 1st RC Heli. Its a V911 by WL. So far i am loving it. Thinking of upgrading some of the parts and get extra lots of batteries.

there are other options that are cheaper than the phantom
i am currently building one for about half the price of a phantom set but has more capabilities than the phantom
it all depends on how much u wanna spend .. in monetary terms and time to dedicate yourself to read and learn
if u just want ready to fly/plug and play with minimum setting up ... maybe the phantom could be good for u

yup bro, just bought a phantom 2 vision. really easy to control it. but i still newbie for fly. need time to study hope can handle it well soon.

agreed. usually about 100 only. 250 can get you a lama v4 already, which is way better in the long run.

usually it's around there for most RC flyers(even high end ones). believe me, 10 mins is actually a long time to maintain concentrations. just buy more batteries.

my v262 already equip add-on camera and 2000maH battery
battery can say too heavy for my V262 but more stable than before

i also already brought ar drone 2.0
but i guess i regret to buy it
slow, range to near (50meter) and easy to lose control

Anyone tried xinxun quad before?? Not sure whether to get this or the one from wl toys. trying my hands on quadcopter now

I am interested to get a quadcopter for Aerial photography purpose. Any recommendations on something that would be good for a Hero3? Budget below 1k if possible.

I also have little experience doing RC flying, so something easy to fly or durable would be good.

it would work for a single cell lipo. 4.2v full charge. try that on a multicell lipo, better get the fire extinguisher ready.
