Another beautiful season FPV flight!
Back for another new year adventures! Looks like the rainy season has gone and recently had adventurous FPV flight on Drifter Ultralight. Cruising the sky as always this week.

Yep... after building multicopters, I'm trying my hand at building foamies.

This is my upcoming build, waiting for all the parts to slowly show up. Got Eachine TS840 VTX and 1000TVL camera leftovers from my quad builds. 50a Hobbywing ESC is on the slowboat from Hong Kong. The cheap-ass Illuminati32 F4-based flight controller with OSD just arrived today (US$5 a pop... lol... I just want the OSD), but I'm still waiting for Banggood to restock the DYS 2826 2200kv motor in Feb.... got several TGS props & ordered several more Gemfan & KMP props so that I can thrust test that motor with a watt meter and kitchen scale.

Question - where would be a good place around Hulu Kelang to fly this 1200mm flying wing?

My old Radiolink AT10 radio also died. I suspect a faulty on/off switch, I guess I have to crack open the case and take a look....

Yup, still doing scratch build planes from depron foamies recently, build another F22 jet this month from 5mm depron sheet. Don't have to fly at big field with these just small home backyard enough.

I had that same problem on all my radios, just use a can spray of electronic contact cleaner to clean the switch contact surface. 100% fixed.

I'm using Testor paint (PS##) from Tamiya spray paint. Theres normally two common TAMIYA spray can you can find in hobby shop: the "TS-##" and the "PS-##" (where=## is color number). You must use "TS" labelled paint to paint for foam, its foam safe. But "PS" type will eat foam because its made for painting on hard plastic body shell so avoid "PS".

You said TS## is the one to use for foam, but you're using Testor PS## on depron foam...?

Oh sorry for typo, i'm using Testor Model Master Acrylic paint (via airbrushing) and also Tamiya "TS" pray can on depron/foam. If you look from R/C truck.buggy threads in lowyat forum i made R/C track from foam painted from Acrylic. Both works well. As long its not from "PS" Tamiya paint or anything used for polycarbonate hardshell painting.

Q100 returns! Back touring and speeding around big park with lots of obstacles to play around with my tiny pocket rocket FPV Q100.

Usually at R/C club runway, park and mostly at the beach because of steady and good strong wind to float around. Its my second profile F22 build. The first one is this one below and flown at the beach. Still painted with same black white scheme.
