As usual i will play with factory FW first , it support 3G modem out of the box even i have not updated to the latest factory FW yet ~ bo time, just got it yesterday

As you can see, MF680 is not in its list of usable modems, but just select Auto will get the modem detected on Purple with ease.

I like Asus because flash geek told me its very easy to flash N16, and its equally hard to brick it. It have a special utility for Hardcore Flashers to revert back to factory FW with ease. Price at Srii Comp now is rm319.

i tested the modem firmware n also the maxis new dashboard... both wont lock the modem... i put my umobile sim all ok~

guys, i did the second tweak and change it to -400 for my e372. signal and speed increased tremendously, but it has a little bit unstable when connected to mr3420 (openwrt).....anyone experiencing the same problem?

I did try tweak to -444 value on E372.
Good news = High Fibre Download
Bad news = very unstable

Try to tweak back to original value -2xx. Now seem ok.

u use it on mr3420? its only unstable if use mr3420, but if direct to laptop no problem....hemph....

yes u can,. any usb modem that can be detect by QPST . u can tweak..
