done tweaking my 1st modem (Huawei E372)
tested on IDM downloading ubuntu ISO
telco : maxis
before tweak : HSPA+ 91dBm abit rocky speed at 2.9-3.3mbps
after tweak : HSPA+ 91dBm abit more stable at 3.3-4.1mbps

cant expect much becoz on my working table the network signal is abit bad... usually i plug my TPlink 3020 router near the office window

before tweak : HSPA+ 99dBm abit rocky speed at 2.2-2.4mbps
after tweak : HSPA+ 99dBm flat stable at 2.81-2.89mbps and some times flat stable at 1.86-1.96mbps

my office 3rd floor TNB Bangi

can only get good speed after 5.30pm when im already about to go back home
average office hour speeds = 1.2-3mbps
after office hour speeds = 3.2-6mbps

same result on tx
26 93dBm signal
27 93dBm signal
33 85dBm signal

default 23 will give 10% lower speeds

those who are using e372 modem
maxis has finally fix their broken link to the latest modem firmware

i tested the modem firmware n also the maxis new dashboard... both wont lock the modem... i put my umobile sim all ok~

a small improvement on stability and small improvement on top speed
