Lets say i tweak it to 26, if i use it on another PC or Mac, will the value stays in the modem or that different pc's dashboard will revert it back to stock of 23?

How you guys test the values ?

test one by one , start from default value of 23 , till 28 ?

then do a simple DL of 100MB each value? benchmark the fastest DL?

btw, thanks TS, i managed to set my value to 26 from the default of 23 on my E372 now...........

and if i reflash my E372 using your recommended FW on post#1, will the value reset back to default of 23?

thanks

Your actual speed is 18Mbps, the speedtest.net result dun tells the real picture,

Btw, i set my E372 TX to 27, it too surpassed my QoS of 16000......

And i duno why now UM reduced our QOS to 16000/5760 from 42000/5760 and yet we can break that QoS with ease too biggrin.gif

OH! OH!  shocking.gif  shocking.gif  yes its very2 stable now...im using Celcom SKMM, on my MR3420 it shows 16% now, before this only 9% and the speed will go up and down between 1.0Mbps - 1.7Mbps. Now stable at 1.7Mbps, although got a little fluctuation but going in the 1.7Mbps area only....hoah...thanks for the tip bro! btw, i bought the E367 from you, and yeah, good modem, with just 9% celcom signal, im able to youtube and skybox no problem, and now very stable it becomes even better!  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif

btw, should i install the new firmware from the 2nd post of yours?

oh, i live in jeli, so no peak hour over here, speed is the same all the time. only fluctuate when one of the big trees move...hahaha....using skmm can get 1.7Mbps. I tried using celcom normal sim can get stable 7Mbps...now thinking to get the goverment celcom at rm48/months 5GB Day, 5GB night.....hemph...hemph....

so there's no need to use the dashboard?
how much is that router?
*
some area direct plug-in on power usb port is faster than router, its area dependent too as Blacktubi reported best speed of Umobile (31Mbps) on power usb port , no router icon_idea.gif

however, since router only cost you abt rm80, no harm trying, even flashing it to OpenWRT wont kill your wallet if it got bricked tongue.gif
