QUOTE(btard77 @ Mar 9 2006, 09:51 PM) Just wanna know: Do you actually use the knife from your multitools? Or do you use the knives that you have. :D I used the knife of my Gerber L800 all the time.RIP QUOTE(victor_code47 @ Mar 16 2006, 09:59 AM) come to think of it, how often does one need to carry a multitool around? lets discuss and see multitool or normal knife? I carry the L800 everyday to office 8.00AM to 10:00 PM QUOTE(marcuswong @ Mar 8 2006, 04:52 PM) Got back. either ways Yes the Sebenza is a work tool i know that it means Work yes. Why does the leatherman hold a bad edge which one do you have and what blade steel does it use>? the new ones use 154CM steel (at least the better ones) and that rarely gets complaints. TCE sports in Sunway has a Big, albeit pricier than it should be, Selection of Multitools (well Victorionoxes and Leatherman(s) no SOGs or anything else) try the Swisstool Spirit. Everyone says that its the best now but i have problems wiht the blade attached (waved wharncliffe rectangle thing) and its on offer. I am eyeing that Leatherman Charge Ti. looks good and useful tools instead of the ones that are redundant (i dont think i need 15 sizes or screwdrivers attached to a multitool) eventually the one you will need fits the screwdriver you left at home sugarboi: i have that balisong, wanted to test out flipping on a basic butterfly so i took that in used it so it got nice and blunt then taped the edge and now look at instructions at balisongxtreme.com as to HOW to flip Seonghoon: didnt lightfoot make knives for SOG before? marcus My Leathermans & Gerber (pre 2004), the blades are made of plain 420, bead blasted/satin on the gerbers. Which part of sunway does TCE sports located? I only know hobby-sport across the road from pyramid. |

QUOTE(seonghoon5 @ Apr 6 2006, 05:02 PM) Once talked to a policeman and according to him, no edge weapon are allow to carry around town. Another police told me that is allowed to carry a knife with a edge up to 6". Exactly, got tons of conflicting results. Samo from bladesforum said that anything above 4" in dangerous if the police find it. Might have some serious explaining to do.Max Of course, if you have some heavy duty knives then it gets even worse. And the thing is, you could go to jail for 2 years with whipping for it. But if you carry a normal looking knife, then if you are a technician etc you can probably talk your way out of it. But that's the problem. Gotta clarify perfectly before carrying this things around. I carry a multi purpose tool without a problem anywhere I go though, but it's not the same as a folder. EDIT: I might have a SOG TF-6 for sale soon since I'm trying to buy another knife. No use keeping the TF-6. If nobody wants it then I'll most probably just keep it. This post has been edited by refnulf: Apr 6 2006, 05:10 PM |
