Anyone here with exact information on knife laws in malaysia?

Exactly, got tons of conflicting results. Samo from bladesforum said that anything above 4" in dangerous if the police find it. Might have some serious explaining to do.

Of course, if you have some heavy duty knives then it gets even worse. And the thing is, you could go to jail for 2 years with whipping for it.

But if you carry a normal looking knife, then if you are a technician etc you can probably talk your way out of it. But that's the problem. Gotta clarify perfectly before carrying this things around.

I carry a multi purpose tool without a problem anywhere I go though, but it's not the same as a folder.


EDIT: I might have a SOG TF-6 for sale soon since I'm trying to buy another knife. No use keeping the TF-6. If nobody wants it then I'll most probably just keep it.
