whoa cha! the benchmades! dem looking good! wanna see how my benchmite II performs before i actually make my opinion on benchmade
the current situation is
is it too much hype and too little performance?

want the physical product to judge

anyone got first hand exprience with BMs?
another brand i am curious about is Al Mar anyone handled one before?
comparisons? form and function?

marcus

Well Marcus, i can't tell you much about Al-mar. I never had one before. The other reason is too many brands in the market. How i wish i can own all, but its impossible. Anyway, from what i heard al-mar is not too bad. Its utility knives is doing great in the market. I guess there must be a reason behind it.

Yeap, more or less alike. But cheaper than extreme ratio (ER). Both are equally good.

any news on the fishing stuff?
*
Ohh ya, about the fishing stuff. I am still working on it. Unfortunately my supplier only has knives, kitchen cutlery, tools, swords, sharpeners, lighting, outdoor, security, apparel, eyewear, ligthers, watches & gifts (manicure set). I will see if i can get other lubang on fishing stuff.

Well my opinion is simple. Buying a fixed blade knife can only use for jungle purpose. Cannot carry around as a handy tool, especially during working on site and short period outdoor activity. Carrying a fixed blade in public will cause havoc.

As what marcus said, folders is more suitable in urban. I totally agree with victor_code47 on folders being portable and its an advantage too.

hmmmmm....... lightings? Like Flashlight? Can get a Surefire L1 cheap? Just curious that's all. Surefire in our country costs a BOMB!

Anyway, can you import fixed knives? Most knife collectors prefer folders than fixed knives. Me? I like 'em both as both of 'em have their pros & contras. Guys, wanna talk about it?
