so it made me use google to search the product review anything i wan to buy.

I moved my 9600 to my Asus A7V8X, but system dont allow to set other resolution other then 640x480, 4 bit. Everything was never overclocked b4. Is there any known bugs? Using latest Ati driver and Asus MB BIOs and XP Pro.

uninstall whole driver set and software completely then restart then install the latest version of omegadriver.

Done that too.

Btw if i unistall everything and boot without any driver, WinXP will run in 800x600 32bit.
If install Ati driver or Omega, it will only display 640x480 4 bit. Everytime when click Apply or Ok, the setting seems not save by display properties

Win XP clean install and fully patch.

did u install the correct version of the omega drivers for ur GC??

Is there significant difference in performance if i use Omega drivers instead of ATI's drivers?

To me there is significant performance boost. u can select to install performance or quality driver when u install OmegaDriver. Performance driver is faster than original driver, Quality driver is same as original driver but it is tweaked to have better graphic quality.

nop, nvr try b4. but i tried DHzer0point driver, still from Omega is better.

a very sad day today... my 3yr old friend, my ATi Radeon 9600XTG-C3 passed away peacefully alongside its soulmate CM's CoolViva at 2:37am..

autopsy was conducted immediately and concluded that the core was chipped at the edge resulting in the early symptom of the unability to play 3D-Games..

the card was put to rest today at 3:00pm in its original box, sealed with an anti-static bag and kept on top of the 'hall-of-fame' cupboard together with its predecessors..

may u rest in peace..

now using ATi Radeon 9550LE 256MB OC from 250/200 to 305/233.. borrow it from fren.. might buy a used x800pro..

anyone knows what 3d mark 2003 scores should a standard 9600pro compared to XT should get? thx...
