hav u try different drivers?

ex-owner of gecube 9600xt 256 mb, used for 2 yrs plus now still working fine ....sold to my frenbecoz of my old m/b RIPif not i think i wont upgrade it ,now using 7600gs...

I also have 1 asus 9600xt. Yeah..u r right! 9600xt still can play modern games nicely. ok, i m proud of it. make sure the casing inside is well ventilated and clean.

yup.. currently using omega.. it can run at 8x now, but only for like 10mins.. i'm considering to upgrade the stock cooling, i think that would make a difference..

btw, any suggestions on the cooling?? i'm thinkin of;

1) ZALMAN FC-V7 Fatal1ty VGA Cooler
2) CoolerMaster CoolViva
3) ThermalTake TideWater Water Cooling

my 9600xt have struggle to play this game. even i off all video setting (no eyecandy no nothing) . but still it's slightly laggin a lil bit.
i guess it's time for me to move on.

what about 9700? is a 8pipelines card but i see very few ppl using it and selling it at LYN.

juz a question guys... will a graphic card shows sign of reddish on monitor or is it monitor starting 2 "KONG"???? coz now i see abit reddish colour on my monitor de... using 9600XT & Samsung Syncmaster 753DFX 17"...

monitor prob. check ur cable if got loosen or not...if not proly is monitor wan 'kong' ady...

but, CM's CoolViva cools both sides of the card and so as TT's Extreme Giant III.. AC's ATi Silencer 2, Zalman's Fatal1ty FS-V7 and TT's TideWater only cools the GPU side of the card (correct me if i'm wrong) although, the Fatal1ty FS-V7 comes with extra ramsinks for the bga rams in the package..

guyz.. i've a question for anybody that is using the Omega drivers for their 9600XTG-C3 128MB..

i'm experiencing lock-ups rite now when i'm surfing, watching movie or just leaving it at idle.. it resets the drivers then the desktop icons, YM icons and even my avatar and title in LYN is blurred..

is it juz the drivers or my card is coming to the end of its life??

juz update to new driver or wut? try reinstall ur driver or change bak to old driver and see. oso check if ur gc fan is running properly...maybe overheating...

thanx... i oso suspect monitor starting to "KONG" de... haiizz... need 2 waste money to fix it...

changed to Omega drivers and now can play using 8x mode!! then changed the stock heatsink+fan to CM's CoolViva, no more freeze!!

now i'm enjoying my 9600XT.. thanx everybody..

omegadrivers alwiz rockz for ATi cards!

mine 9550 wif RV360 , can come in or not ?
default 450/350 , able to reach 580/417

i found tat is using ATI official driver enter or exit windows is longer than omega driver.
last time i using my geforce , is really fast and i feel weird y after change to ati become slower , when shutdown the computer seen like no response.
my fren also face this problem , after tat i tried the omega driver , i love it ,
but the omega problem support multi monitor is not as catalyst.

this card is quiet ok for me , last time i using eagle 9550 , tat card is 250/200 default , max is 480/217 , so i need to clock it so wont feel lag in game.

but now change to this ddr2 version , wif default clock , heatsink , i can enjoy most of game today wif very smooth .

maybe tat eagle 9550 is oni 64bits card...

128bits , just because tat mem cant go high .
now i using ddr2 version 9550 , it's near to 9600xt

lol wut a lame gc.... last time my 9250 oso oc better than tis...
nvr heard of ur eagle brand b4...haha
