Unless u can get the saltwater from a mature tank then it might take a shorter period of time biggrin.gif .. but 3-4 day will not be stable sweat.gif , I tried these method n it still took me 2 weeks... yawn.gif

If i would like to put seahorses in my tank, what fish are recommended to mix with them ? From what i read, clown and tang not suitable to mix with seahorse, because seahorse is slow eater, and clown and tang are fast swimmer, food will finished before the seahorse eat, and cause seahorse starve to dead, is there any fishes can mix with seahorse ?

I asked one of my LFS bout it and he told me u can actually keep Seahorses but its hard to tc of them since they r too slow so u can't expect them to compete with other fishes for food so u have to feed them each time.. wink.gif

seahorse not for beginner, leave them alone smile.gif

you need to breed live artemia or copepod to feed them for few months at least.

they don't take frozen food or pallets especially those from the wild

Finally my 1st mini tank is up & running today. I got 1 problem now, the water clarity is not clear, look like milk after 3 hours running. Btw, my hydrometer reading is 1.030, is it too high?

Finally, i get 1.025 hydrometer reading after suck out all the previous water & mix new tank of water. Start to intro live rocks into the tank.

The sales person is the guy with spec & around late 30's. I think the oldest salesman at East Aqua Ikano.

Now i change to visit Sam Aquatic & Reef Altech. More information from them.
