beginnig it will hide in sand

alex, why my anemone gotten small??it's tentacle also shorten..
I've already feed it with chopped prawn 3 times a week..
and also give some nutrient and vitamin supplement once a week..
got any idea??

once a week, don't over feed. make sure temp stable don't swing, prefer 26-28c. don't dose anything extra. do a big water change.

Hi guys, dunno y my live rock is gettin black. I mean when I bring home it was light green colour but now is slowly turning to black. Do u think they r dying? How to cure it?

the black color is coating or its the rock itself?

ok alex..but i've always do 50 percent water change once a month..my current tank is 3ft..my temp is 28c..

coating I think, on the white coraline instead of turning to purple or green it turn to black colour. I'll try to attach pic later maybe you can see.

did ur guys use uv sterilizers for aquarium setup??did that thing its important
for water quality??

it will kill everything, bad and good. unless the water condition is really really teruk else i don't recommend to use it.

alex,how about reef advantages magnesium + reef builder + calcium +3 will encourage the
grow of coralline algae??

u only need to dose KH & Calcium
i use seachem, contain calcium + proper portion of magnesium & strontium so noneed additional go buy mag & strontium, watse $
mag & strontium only need very small qty.
u want coralline algae, boost ur lighting.

what type of seachem(reef complete,reef advantages calcium,reef builder,reef trace @ reef plus)??which one??
what type of additive to rise KH??
what diff between reef plus and reef trace??

KH i use kent marine power form, cheap

reef plus reef trace , best is do regular water change, marine salt has all the trace element.
