the price is normal tank for marine aquarium 3feet+.. coz marine life need alot of space

price is tank 3feet + 2feet(filter) + high stand + pipe(filtering system)
=RM 206

lighting set(blue&white)
=RM150

filter item(sponge / black ball / skimmer(if u got extra budget)
=RM20 + skimmer(3feet better get RM100+)

salt
=RM6-7 per kg if u buy a bag its RM38-40 per 6.6kg(3feet must atleast 8kg)

coral chip / live rock / live sand (to get a better ph)
=depending on lfs sum sell in kg sum sell in bag

chemical(anti chlorine / ph test / trace element / bacteria)
=depending on brand

pump( if u get a skimmer u need 2 pump)
=better use the expensive 1..coz can use long...recommend brand is ATMAN AT-105(RM58) i use 2 of this pump in my filter set

hidrometer / chiller(this is the most expensive item in marine tank.atleast RM700+
=u can get the cheap hidrometer(floating type)RM10 only

maybe thats all the price list i had spent for my tank....maybe i have forgeting sumthing but i thk thats all..if u wanna get a marine tank pm me coz this price is cheap than other place i had go.

hi..im beginer for saltwater tank..i need some help..iv run my tank for 2 month..i have 2 ft tank and the red slime diatom was my problem..i dont know how to solve it..my tank is fowlr tank..i use 15w white fluorescent and 15w super artinic marine blue..i use 240L ista protien skimmer and hang on filter with phosphate wool..could somebody help me??

how long lighting on per day , any direct sun light ? how is ur water condition, tested nitrate level? ur surface skimmer might not be so effective.

ive change my light from flourecent to power glo 20 watt, 18000K.
lighting per day = 10 hour for power glow and 15W artinic blue
ive never check my water condition since the water test so pricefull
i think my skimmer work effectively coz ive use double channel(air pump) for woolstone and 1 channel for water outlet.
i also use nitrate remover and phosphate remover media.
any suggestion??help me... ..

what ATO system?? what use??

since is fowlr tank, can try to reduce to 8hrs your lighting.
what kind of fish you have now? if you have a big 1 in your existing thank than get a small 1, else the opposite.
that;s recommended by ppl mostly.

auto top off , to replace vaporized water.
i use 2 fan , big 1 runs in morning and small 1 runs at night after light off via timer so this gadget can come in handy for me especially when i'm travelling.

i have 1 maroon clown, 1 clicki clown, 2 damsell, 1 coral banded shrimp, 1 algae balenies, and 3 anemonae...if i pair my maroon clown,
will they become more agressive in my tank??my tank only 2 ft..

you try find on ebay..i think they have ATO sys...

3 anemonae, that's cool, what kind you have there?
i'm kind of sceptic when it comes to anemonae, hard to keep.
so far i keep only 1, purple long tentacles anemonae for my african clown.

ebay those not local also. now i have to refill 2 litre of water everyday, kinda troublesome, maybe should invest for a chiller.
how big is your maroon clown?

i don't know what exactly my anemone type @ name..
what im sure, 1- have purple tip and long tentacle, 2- yellow tentacle and at their tip is grey,
3- have long tentacle,red root and blue + purple tentacle..
my maroon fish is about 7cm long..

been doing research whole day, is TEC, thermoelectric cooler. that plate is call peltiers plate where electricity flow from 1 side to other and bring the tempreture down a bit, not much. but if the tank is small than it will be able to bring down 2-3c which should be enough.

electricity bill wise also friendly.

i saw an article someone bought thermaltake subzero g4 heatsink,fan + plate for rm50


how to use it is simple, cut a square size hole like the photo here in the hanging filter, glu it up, so this small compartment will cool the water up faster.

this only works if not so big tank, i have a 33gallon tank (exclude sump tank, an overflow system) so is kinda hard for it to really work effectively to bring the temp down.

planning to get a hailea HC-100A chiller for 300L (850bucks) but now no stock pulak. damm... 400L pulak overkill and bulky, haiyy, weekend will go island fish shop ronda ronda

where got rm50 only. you still need to get a hang filter (30), adapter (20) for it. probably rm120 at the end

maroon clown... hhm..actually hard to say, try to get a small 1 and slowly introduce. get a plastic container to seperate them first but able to see each other, wait until your old clown no longer attack it than only release.

u can use fan to blow the water surface directly, water vaporize will disperse heat.

tec is a special type of cpu fan, not normal cpu fan. thermaltake subzero g4 is one of it, there are other brand, cpu fan normally power by 12v supply

should be ok, diff species normally they don't bother.

7. 15w arsenic blue
that it..can u tell me what to add??

hard to say, what is the depth of your tank & what kind of coral you plan to keep?
18000k, i prefer not too high K rather than have more tube with various spectrum, i use 4 x 24w
now technology has improved a lot, not necessary to go until MH for normal reef setup.

as for cooling, long term better get a chiller, as you add more lighting your water will boil.
look for 2nd hand, many people upgrade their tank & will sell their chiller.

stable water parameter very important for reef tank, if can make a sump tank than will be good,
you can shift you skimmer to the sump tank, also you can have space to put proper carbon filter, po removal,
even a refugium.
