great, thats what i wanted to hear. the algae was already growing some time ago, just i think 2 days ago i left my lights on for 12 hours+ forgotten to switch it off and went for classes thats why there's a bit growing on my sand bed.

most probably get the oceallaris, orange ones. dont quite like the maroon cuz they're territorial i think? and i prefer the orange ones.

anemone see first lol. lfs selling for RM40 the anemone looks like ritteri anemone. i've seen clowns host on white mushroom coral looks not bad also.

its been a long wait, going to test my water parameters this friday.

get a timer, not so expensive & light on/off consistent. coral also can have jetlag 1 rclxm9.gif
nemo nemo, actually all are territorial, any fish come close to their anemone they will fight back.
go observe their swimming action, personally i like african clown, sabae. maroon gold stripes also nice
ritteri anemone, occasionally need to dose iodine or get some coral food which have iodine ingredients.
clown host mushroom coz no choice rclxub.gif

went to lfs and saw a maroon gold stripe clown, RM35 ok price?

my tank is getting covered more with the diatoms everyday, is it a sign of ammonia dropping?

i'm going to leave my tank for about 1 more week before getting livestock rclxm9.gif

most important test kit is nitrates & KH
now your kh should be around 12,
after u add live stock it will drop in few months time.
need to maintain it at 9, other test kit is optional

i dont think there's a need for any removal media.

experienced marine keepers use live rock as the main filtration and in fact they are against any filter media.

your light i not sure, different lighting on the market, better check with where u bought it.
nitrate keep as low as possible but is not harmful but rather stressful to some fish and coral.
certain algae & more plant base coral will need nitrate as food source also.

ya, marine and fresh water different.
refugium in sump will be good, will help to absorb nitrates
