I think it's normal for us to have negative reaction to the local pricing...

AP dealers were previously selling at the same price. these dealers probably got their stock from a middleman who probably got it from USA. the N7 probably came from a factory in China. but you see, even with so many levels, everyone is making money...

in the local set from Asus, it's probably shipped direct from China, cutting down a few layers. yet, price is at rm999, what the AP dealers were charging then.

it's kinda obvious that Asus is being very greedy...

oh ya... i dun think Asus MY even mentioned about the usd25 credit for Google Play.

The $25 credit offer will expired soon, even in the US.

The 50% rebate of first swipe (max RM250) is for new Citibank CC holders only...

Hello I'm new n7 owner :-D I had successfully claimed the 25usd by following the steps given member here. I write this by using n7 now

i just tried just now, the method at the OP faq works.

the instruction did say a fresh reset nexus7 works best.
so i do cwm backup, and factory reset and try it.
folo exactly the instruction dun enable location.

it does work. even on custom rom.
i borrow friend visa credit card.
after got the credit i remove the card from google wallet.


maybe you can try factory reset, or use other credit card.

long story short:
1. get unlimited 25usd
2. factory reset, reg with google account keyin credit card claim 25usd
3. gactory reset, reg with another google account, and claim another 25usd.

i followed this instruction, but i have problem connecting the VPN, it keeps tell me Unsuccessful when connecting,

in the CactusVPN Free Trial have US, UK, NL VPN, us the US 1 right?

at 1st i use the `CactusVPN Free Trial have US, UK, NL VPN'. Then I noticed only UK Pound 15 & not USD25. I proceed but then a message ur credit card bla bla not entitled bla bla.

Then restart again all the procedure (factory reset, VPn etc), this time using US Miami server and a message `..USD 25 will b ...' appears. After 3 attempt using 3 different credit cards, at last I got the USD25.

I am not sure which step I am wrong, but keep unsuccessful when trying to connect =\

Finally solved, changed to another wifi hotspot then can already. What is the best recommended apps to buy? hehe

I checked Senheng facebook page, and they said (in an answer to one of the interested buyers) that stock is only available next week but you can place an order now.

It's such a shame that they said it's "available" on 21st September. Not sure if it's Google/Senheng/Asus fault, but this kind of thing would never happen to Apple as everyone is well informed about the time and channels to purchase - online order / brick and mortar store etc

I straight use us Miami server.
No wonder mine work. I will update the instructions.

I believe 1 gadget and also direct d selling around that price now.
