Guys.. i'm using 2.0" OD piping now.. Will ppl call me crazy if i change the mid section piping (from bullet to resonator) to 1.8" OD pipe? All i want is to get a lil bit more of backpressure..

current setup is 4-2-1 > 6" long of 2.0" OD piping > twist bullet > some 1 foot long of 2.0" OD piping > resonator > s-flow
Car is Gen2 1.6 AT non-cps

thinking of changing the 1 foot long of 2.0" OD pipe into 1.8" OD.. Any advice/recommendation?

u may get a lil backpressure for that. i've tried mine by enlarging the piping frm 1.8" to 2" between the nenas until resonator...and the length is lesser than 1 foot, yet i can feel the lose of the low end torque. depends on how much backpressure u want, u can try experimenting by resizing part by part into smaller piping. wink.gif

Same goes to my friend's Peugeot 206.

My friend did his first exhaust there. The shop recommended ridiculous setup with oversized pipes. Since my friend don't know much about exhaust so he just went with it. My friend's car FC dropped to almost 1/4, the car is vibrating unevenly and it's too loud even thought he specifically told him he wanted less noisy setup.

He went there twice to check what's the problem. He gave up and went to Sunway's SuperCircuit. They laughed the moment they saw a glimpse of the exhaust laugh.gif
I went to Everco yesterday to do my Viva. They quoted me RM1.9K for a full stainless steel setup  sweat.gif

Installed an s-flow muffler recently and would be doing extractor + pipings soon. Will my exhaust be louder? (Replaced stocked filter with KNN already)

About exhaust pricing, I counted and it would cost me approximately RM 800 for full mod, extractor to muffler including bullet plus workmanship. Is the price alright? hmm.gif

One noob question, is bullet another word for cat con? blush.gif

Extractor upgrade alone will of course make your exhaust sounds louder
So at the center, just install a big midbox or a bullet or two to lower the sound
