QUOTE(low yat 82 @ Dec 11 2011, 08:20 PM) lol... any cams wit 270+- duration or lower is OK..provided d lift is not to aggressive... works enginerrin / powerzone cam looks fine. jasma cam if u r on tight budget... what i previously meant was taking one bullet out and replaced with a midbox as it's larger, it'll able to provide more backpressure - perhaps? Will this improve the pickup a little or change to 1.8" directly after the extractor? but d rough idle is vry adrenaline pumpin... huhu https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pb4e5jYZDdM&feature=related agree... d pipe sizin is really depends on d engine characteristics n also d driver's handling d fuel pedal. there r act a bunch of software to calculate d piping size for certain rpm one's r aimin accordin to inlet valve, outlet, bore, stroke, cam duration n lift yadyadyadya.. but for rough guidance, 2.0" is still d magic number where alot tuner / guides use as threshold..lol 2 mufflin is enough at middle. 3 r too much...lol.. like i said, d cheapest way is change d piping size.. rm150+- settle..lol Any idea which shop got good workmanship on welding piping? my current 2.0" piping is ready made mandrel bend from manufacturer, those welding point is really neat and not really noticeable, is there any shop can do this? |

Will this improve the pickup a little or change to 1.8" directly after the extractor? what you need is to maintain the gas velocity with smooth and suitable size piping...not simply adding midbox and hoping that backpressure will imporve the pickup...which is wrong concept... thanks for sharing. the thing i should seriously look into is the piping size which is 1.8" for my 1.6L engine, right?
any recommendations on good workmanship for welding? |

QUOTE(Kirie @ Dec 14 2011, 10:43 PM) u can put as much as u want.. This 2 way aka straight flow midbox.. is a good stuff.. i put 2 at the mid pipe.. straight midbox from extractor to tip..no pipe at all..haha kindly check this link ---> http://www.facebook.com/#!/exsswork?sk=photos even with air cond ON.. i dont have any problem with the top speed.. it does really do wonders But i DIY it at nearest exhaust shop only. No budget for >1K exhaust sytem setup. The midbox brand is Top Cat Racing Series F1. Just make sure the midbox ID match our midpiping ID for smooth direct pipe exhaust flow.. Anyway here is the alternative way / the cheap way for tight budget user like me http://tictac-4g15.blogspot.com/2011/11/ch...ust-system.html |

QUOTE(Jajay Chong Hon Keat @ Dec 13 2011, 11:21 PM) Lolx~! Really got helped one meh? I got a friend driving 4G63T wira... He has modified a lot... Everything not standard... Horsepower 560+ with dyno test... He top speed only 260km/hr because the rpm aalready almost max >< I really hard to believe 1600cc can reach 265km/hr~ it's not 1600cc. it's 2000cc evo block. I think it's a 2wd. can you confirm there's an axle at the back? the rear height doesn't seem to be higher. |
