ZTE MF680 external antenna hole using = TS-9 convertor

Huawei E372 external Antenna hole using = CRC9 convertor

price is different as ZTE MF680 much cheaper than E372 notworthy.gif

last is personal preferences choices notworthy.gif

Huawei E372 is much more stable than MF680 thanks to the low heat

If you plan to modify, go for MF680

If you just prefer the stability and you don't mind the extra speed, go for E372.

well ZTE MF680 is pretty stable and works like a charm for me too,..

as for heat wise yes E372 is a bit lower compare to ZTE MF680

but i believe higher performances = higher heat laugh.gif

MF680 perform faster.
BUT, if not cooled properly, it will slow down.

are u on public IP ?

try to walk in maxis to change to newer batch of sim ( try your luck )

or

wait for your area base station to upgrade

or

call maxis up ask them to lock your signal permanently to another tower which might have higher speed,..

i get that for almost nearly 1 years, and speed constent 2~3Mbps

it true 100% chuah thumbup.gif

i tested myself between my college and home.

at home i use cooling fan to cool down my E372, but at college no cooling system i use

and the result is,the performance drop very quickly although u get Good signal there and not stable too..the modem also very hot vmad.gif doh.gif sweat.gif

at home i got pretty nice speed using with cooling fan here.

so, the fact are more performance/more speed = more heat like chuah had said before

better using cooling fan to maintaince the performance/speed

glad u decide to tested it out on everything,

some user did PM and blame me say i bla bla bla on first pages when they only read one small section and didnt bother to take their time go through the whole first pages of this thread,

after all because of my E372 sucide and jump from very tall shelf on wall on top on woofer and save my TL-MR3420 absorb all the impact break death, that's why i decide to try ZTE MF680,.

HUawei E372 is actually quite hot as well , not as cool as people think,. most user didnt add cooler system because 3.6Mbps or 7.2Mbps modem is much lower performances = come with lower heat,.

Thanks again for your feed back, great to know it did work for u after all notworthy.gif

yea that is confirm double up / will max out your connection speed,

becareful of these type of reflecting signal method as it reflecting the heat too notworthy.gif
