QUOTE(bjohnxbjohn @ Sep 16 2012, 02:30 PM) Hi Fruitie, thanks for informative thread. It's useful. OpenVPN works very well.I don't know whether this had been discussed before or not, anyone try to connect corporate VPN with your 3G? I googled that Maxis did not block any VPN. However, my IT department mentioned Maxis bb can't (and no way) access to corporate VPN. Thanks in advance Depends how your corporate VPN works since Maxis do actually filtered some port and I know some VPN don't works with private IP |

QUOTE(chuahcs79 @ Sep 16 2012, 10:19 PM) if u able to tame the Beast combination you have, then everything is worth it when u see or become highspeed wannabe I don't mind how fast the fan is just what step me back is the noise Guys, if you want a nice ratio between fan performance and noise, get Noctua You won't regret. Especially when you need your modem inside your bedroom |

QUOTE(rulez1 @ Sep 17 2012, 06:04 PM) thanks sifu. QoS is the most important factor for your speedanyway, QOS is important or not for zte modem? coz the huawei brand is too much pricey for 42mbps The higher the QoS you can get, the highere the speed you can get Not important at all unless you want to test the QoS everywhere you visited |

QUOTE(mynewuser @ Sep 18 2012, 09:40 PM) Thank for the info on unlimited package. I remember someone tried to request higher speed for public IP but end ip no news anymore.I request for public ip and I notice the QOS show received 2048 and send 384. How to make it higher speed? maxis limit the public IP speed? Can we request for higher speed? I dont think its possible due to this is some kind of so-called limitation by Maxis |

Huawei E372 is much more stable than MF680 thanks to the low heat
If you plan to modify, go for MF680 If you just prefer the stability and you don't mind the extra speed, go for E372. |
