Can someone teach me how to connect to internet using DWM156? Thanks , using maxis broadband

Simple, put the simcard into the DWM156, plug in the modem into the PC, let it self install the dashboard, setup a connection using the normal parameters, click connect

just remember set APN = maxisbb and Dial number = *99#

APN can use celcom3g or 3gdiginet also

in my area, different apn does make different speed and lantency,.. i know all apn can connect but they are just different in speed & lantency both though

which APN do you recommend for higher speed?

u need to test and see which one fit you in your area,...

my area

speed of maxisbb APN much more stable but speed a bit lower than unet APN

lantency Unet APN is much more lower than maxisbb APN

Oh...so which APN name able to perform in Maxis bb?

unet,maxisbb,bbnet

To get higher speed, AIM for IP range guys, some IP range perform faster as less user are using the IP block.

Just brought ZTE MF680.
My area cant check QOS due of not compatible with MDMA.

when youtube or something, really slow.
perhaps need stick to huawei e220.
or oni huawei modem perform more well than zte mf680

All u need to make sure is yur ZTE MF680 is ON purple LED,.. purple LED = DC-HSPA+ channel network

if the manual NETWORK band config in MDMA dont really work after u have try everything,

u can always revert it back to Automatic in Band config

just curious how u place your usb modem,.direct plug in usb port ? or ?

what is the RSSI ?

is like the first post mention, is your ZTE MF680 very hot or very warm ?

and already stated QoS by MDMA only on HUawei usb modem ( except HUawei E355 ),..

if u prefer to see QoS in first places, u should go for E372,..
