New Maxis set only RM280,...

so RM245 used unit is too expensive

maybe cause tower qos is 2048? dont take my word for it, i not so sure

E1762 is 7.2Mbps 3G Modem, depends on the signal, weather & peak/non-peak hours, maybe you can get around 2~4Mbps like me.

Direct download on FTP or HTTP using IDM, normal is 200~400kbps, maximum I can get around 700kbps.

Want deadly fast combo? Change your 3G Modem to modem that can support DC-HSPA+ which is the speed is up to 42Mbps, who knows you can get better signal and speed at your place? You need to try it by yourself

But if you change modem also, don't think you can easily hit 10Mbps and above because need to consider many factors.

Correct me if I'm wrong. 

how do u get the QoS back ? u change sim ? or it auto reset for u  ?

sometimes 16000/8640 QoS can get higher than 16Mbps 

and some area even is 42000/8640 but speed might be lower too

currently using Sierra 754S and the speed isn't that satisfy for me.
(forumer stated it do not support up to dc-hspa, that's why, confirm?)

hmmm but 754s provide strong wireless for me haha, tiny size but huge signal and least hot, good actually.

E367 is the most stable and consistent modem I every owned 
How was their performance now

Last time tried 313U not very satisfying

Just telling you Huawei modem is very reliable

After testing so many modem including LTE one

Consider giving Sierra a 2nd chance liao

i am using E372 Huawei set now,

stable and bravo performances, can get 1.7~1.85MB/s at day time and 1.9~2.1MB/s at non peak hour,..

after tweaking TX power, current speed



can sleep well now,.
