moreover you only put the modem+ router for the duration of the download, not 24/7

Yea it is up to personal preferences,

i much more prefer the noisy server fan, at least i know the fan is turbo enough to provide air flow @ Max 24/7 all time,

we all just try to get the temperature control @ best method we prefer

oh i see.

im not using it with dlink usb modem. im might getting zte mf680 instead buying from friend.

anyway... so, confirm this 3 in 1 tiny router cannot use any zte or huawei 3g usb modem right unless dlink brand?

coz the huawei brand is too much pricey for 42mbps

QoS is the most important factor for your speed
The higher the QoS you can get, the highere the speed you can get

Not important at all unless you want to test the QoS everywhere you visited
