Dlink USB modem signal & speed both very lame and temperature is one of the highest too, as i use before,.. strongly not suggested

i know a tplink 3G router confirm can support

@Chuah, anytime, if next time buy a Huawei, you wont regret, abt the E372, i guess Penang can get the rm280 one soon........or just buy from CoCo, she have it "Stock Ready" now 

it is not about the inner, is about the firmware 

those are either not compatible or they are HSPA+,..

that's why cannot power up purple LED for DC

what does mean by data no connected on mf680? means sim card not activated yet?

When highspeed exchange of data is in place, eg DC-HSPA+ or HSPA+, its Purple and the modem will fall back to Blue ( HSDPA ) or Green ( Edge ) to conserve power and cool the modem sometimes.....

If you get constant Purple, its advisable to sufficiently cool the modem with a blower , else the Highspeed feature will be gone in the modem forever  , its like you "frying" the Dual Channel feature in the modem itself........

APN - unet

Username - maxis

Password - wap

Warezbb is blocked. Goto your connect manager, click settings, then see your configuration name, then you select it, go to advance tab and then enter google dns at 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4

go -> here

download the DNS Jumper

run it

click the Fastest DNS

wait for it finish scan all DNS

click Apply

and done,

after that all your network DNS is change to that fastest DNS
