just buy another AC powered fan as the DC fan is not strong enough, it wont cut your fingers if u try to restrain it, so dun waste time as the air blown wont not be strong enough to cool the modem/router  icon_idea.gif

Yes, i wish to connect to company's VPN to work from home.

Do you remember you contact Maxis to do some setting or configuration to connect company's VPN?

Thanks.

whatever plan u using, also need to depends on what area you are in,.

if u are in congested area like student area , then no matter what plan u still get doh.gif speed
*
Yea, my area should be not bad, kampung in deep Ampang. but i got the normal modem which always deliver less than 500kbps but if i put in my motorola defy, it could go up to 2mbps.

Btw, i am using BIZ68.

But now problem is VPN........ haiz........ dunno how to deal with it. I think tomorrow have to call Maxis for more detail.

I don't mind how fast the fan is just what step me back is the noise sad.gif

Guys, if you want a nice ratio between fan performance and noise, get Noctua
You won't regret. Especially when you need your modem inside your bedroom

Not that expensive actually, you dun use 24/7, just a few hrs a day.

But the speed is very much different, i used under the aircond blower, my speed can touch 5Mbps but if i move to another location, the speed drops to only abt 1.5Mbps doh.gif

The temperature of the modem and router play a very important part in determining the performance.

i have to say add on the server fan blowing,

result in my area is getting much more stable compare to before,

more power = more performances = more heat = more cooling
