meet up with the so called "UMW hq engineer", he not really a guy sitting in hq but he just worked in the UMW toyota SC in taman midah, he drove another prius c where not really a demo car in umw hq, it is just company car with 23k odd recorded (mine just 9.3k) his car handbrake also been adjusted to lesser click, i feel really not much will able to find out on the differentiation and the realistic is yes, no different on the test. he told me he need to bring the data to his office to do compare, and the data will send to CRD to prepare a final result.

I also show them a standard recorded in the manual where the handbrake should be 8- 10 clicks sound, but they just like don't care....

i dont want to argue much on this as i will close the complaint because:
1st, my car FC is getting back to 90% normal after some distance i drove. (could be the brake shoe woes out and the attachment on the brake shoe is lesser.)
2nd, the way they handle on my complaint is just like trying to find any excuse for me to mouth shout. if they are serious enough, the test car should be a car that didnt adjusted the handbrake.

so what i going to do is to let them close the case. and i will bring my car for service by instruct them stop adjust my brake.

I asked the question to that guy, he told me the hybrid battery when dead, the screen will show "check the hybrid battery". but if it get weak eg. 1 bar left, your vehicle will warn you immediately.

regard the software update, he told me even the 1.8 prius only have one time software update only (the last prius recall). Prius c so far do not have any update.

2nd hand car dealer will only look at car manufacture year & the Odo meter, regardless the registration year.

All about give & take, but I rather take the 7k discount & worry later for the resales value. Seen not plan to sales in 5-7 years. I believe 10 & 11years cars doesnt make a big different, but 7k discount is quite alot.

Went for my 3rd service after doing 10k km (7months) last Friday. Waited for 5 hours to get it done, could be due to staff on leave. Will not go during holiday season next time. Opted for fully synthetic oil. Including alignment plus balancing, the bill was RM397.50. Overall FC rate stands at 27.5km/l for 10k km.

Wah....10 minutes ago somebody try to break in to my neighbour house which there was nobody in. But they saw me at the window watching them and they got panic, jump into their run away car and spin off. Nowadays, security is really getting worst, only 8.30 pm want to break into house. If he dun throw a stone at my neighbour house with a big bang sound, I wouldn't go to the window to look out. Stupid move but maybe he want to see anyone in the house or not.

spending minutes in the car on idle mode with A/C on is a battery drain and really affects FC. if always driving in housing area also very bad FC as battery has little chance to always caj full.

Stay at kampong better then staying at KL. After I retire, I will move out of KL.

I checked out toyota website, TRD sportivo PriusC is coming but so mahal... ~103,000.

I need to set date and time also. It is fun though.

I managed to get 22.1km/l only for 3k km so far.

I also didn't use tint for my previous car, so I see big improvement, but can't compare with other brand lar.

Added on November 19, 2012, 11:28 pmI found out that on the highway, set the cruise control between 80km/h to 100km/h, the FC will just slowly climb up to 25km/l. Up hill down hill let it climb let it glide. Longer journey better FC.

The only challenge is there is always car/bus blocking in front.

Been going through a few pages and saw members asking about tinting. Well, look for those with high uv & ir protection. If possible get those with high heat rejection. Then look at your budget. As for the tint darkness, is up to individual. The darker the tint, more cun and police magnet lah. Finally follow your own budget.

Added on November 19, 2012, 11:58 pmIt is bro, RM6k just for a miserable bodykit. Better get a normal PC and then install outside. If you dont mind paying a bit more, get the ori Japan bodykit. You still pay less then what is toyota malaysia offering. Ask other members and they say the same thing.

Wow... mine to date is only 19.7km/l for 4650km. As when going home stuck in jam for one hour and half and fc down to 10 to 14km/l . TT

Yup.. I think local bodykit is nicer than toyota one. Went to paradigm mall last week and saw TRD toyota PC.. one word.. it xxxks big time. Not nice and finishing is bad. Somemore no red push start button like the one in Japan.

i think that's what the 'hill assists' is for right? the battery under the rear seat is heavy =p

Seem can't activate leh haha..

I think our engine in front is more heavy haha ^^
