QUOTE(crazy25kid @ Sep 19 2012, 09:30 AM) but with the CPF paid in cash, it is just an indirect way of saying your basic pay is higher. with a higher pay, of course you will be require to pay more tax...simple logic. only time it will hurt is when you apply for PR and get approved. changing job might slightly be a concern if the new company does not pay you the extra cash and increase is based on basic of previous job. relief or not, if u are on EP, there is no relief so for non-PR, of course it will be better to have it since it is extra cash in the end. The company is not obliged to pay a work pass holder their share of CPF contribution. My question to cless^alvein- did you employer agree to pay their share of CPF in cash before you sign your appointment letter?

Do they pay you back the remaining % since first year and second year is 5 and 9% respectively? or do they straight pay 16% to the board?

This one you have to ask those who get it If it's stated there it would look silly isn't it? Just a thought.

QUOTE(anderson2009 @ Sep 19 2012, 02:57 PM) Anyone waiting for the Singtel iphone 5 preorder? According to my intel, Singtel Iphone 5 prelaunch has been lacklustre. The online registration for the phone is still ongoing but its competitors have closed since yesterday. But not speculating, apple could have allocated more units to Singtel considering the bigger subscriber base it has. Right now, I am just riding along with the euphoria.

From LCCT can take those bus service that goes to KL Sentral. Getting a taxi out from LCCT is madness. Else take the KLIA Express.
Aeroline is expensive. I rather take TranStar. There are cheaper ones like Konsortium. Some buses are more expensive because of the luxury of the bus and also some provide food. Cheaper ones doesn't have those

Try the power nasi lemak before you board. It can be pain in the a*s crossing the causeway sometimes, especially peak hours This post has been edited by Mackiddo: Sep 19 2012, 11:00 PM

I think these telcos are sitting on the sideline, waiting for each other to announce the iPhone 5 pricing plan. While creating the anxiety among the fans, it has really turned out to be an anti-climax. The phone is supposed to be available tomorrow and yet we do not know what the pricing would be. Regardless, everyone just desires to be an owner in the first wave.
Added on September 20, 2012, 9:06 amiOS6 reviews are out. As expected only Maps is not up to expectation.
