And do not forget the daily $20 vep.....plus parking if not provided by co.
Like mackiddo said, if cheap then sg will be flooded n gridlocked everywhere.

I agree. Just wait a little while. I've been using iOS 6 for a whole day now (updated at 1am this morning). It's really no different from iOS 5. Just a few additional options in the settings screen etc (it's not revolutionary... not even evolutionary. More like iOS 5 just brushed its teeth and combed its hair). And with the iPhone 5 being exactly like the iPhone 4/4S except for a longer screen... it's pretty much the same user experience. You're not going to miss much waiting a while.

Overheard at the counter this morning, you will need to place a deposit for iPhone5 even if you're a S pass holder.

got an offer from 2 jepanese companies

Company first,
Application Engineer. got an offer letter (semicon industry)
- $3000 after probation
- $150 dental
- hp provided
- medical unlimited
- minimum 2 months bonus
- annual health screening

Company 2nd
Safety Engineer (tyre manufacturer), only verbal offer so far.
written offer will be given tomorrow
- $3300 after probation, $3000 before. but that is the final sum including acc allowance and transport
-benefits not sure yet
-a lot of travel. half of the time will be travelling all over asia pacific
- relocate to bangkok after a year, on expat package of course. although the details on the package is not finalize just yet

leaning towards the second one, but kinda feel reluctant thinking about the new alien language, and safety in bangkok, and the fact that i actually kinda like singapore :|

most of the above hotel are "far" from SATA Chai Chee. Have you look at Bedok Area? Can consider Gaylang area too.

Use gothere.sg to check out the journey from your hotel to SATA.

When I use maps, I want to find what I'm looking for and get where I'm going as quickly as possible. Not look at pretty pictures.

Google maps is still the best for actually using a map.

For driving, dedicated GPS devices are still the best. They have the fastest hardware to gain GPS lock and recalculate changes.
