The yields are in creasing

I bought some croesus today... Based on today closing price and previous quarter dividen, it is about 9.5% yield... Cannot resist it..

this is likely to be a good move.

money fleeing to bonds, us 10 yrs yield <2% now.

and yen in excellent shape.

i wanted to shop today but the portal was down.

not rush, will see tmrw.

X'mas came early, cheap sale everywhere.

dow futures -4xx, crude <39, mayhem again tonite...

lots of reits are offering 8-9% yield at current market prices, but i fear bad times will lead them to slash distribution.

What r the chances of this happening?

Hopeful to get mine today at 78 cents.

Depends on their earnings. They cannot simply slash dividends because there are some conditions to them being reits.
If they pay less than 90% of their earnings, this earnings is subject to tax.

Also for croesus they will distribute 100% of their earnings up to FY2016 if not mistaken, thereafter at least 90%. Earnings will be impacted if their leases in retail mall japan are not renewed. Looking at its lease profiles and if u believe in Japan QE and Abenomics, this is unlikely to happen in near term.

U will get double digit yield liao if u get at this price... Today likely u can get it since it is expected to be another day of bloodbath...

i had Sabana before yielding 12% ! Hopefully we will see this again in our lifetime!

And tomorrow croesus is reporting its quarterly results... So accumulate more units while the price is low !

after getting hammered bad last few days, most reits are starting to recover.

will watch a bit more before jumping in.

Lost most of my bulk months ago especially sabana.

Time to fish again! Those yields look scrumptious!

such yields are hard to come by.

unless one sees hurricanes ahead, i think not bad a time to buy or add.
