Should b around that price if you are getting from your kitchen cabinet. Or are you getting the quote directly from the quartz stone seller?

probably due to they quoted me better quartz stone.. claimed to be more than 70% of quartz material... i'm not good at this actually..

If u r coming to my shop, nearby got a stone dealer, not sure cheaper or not. But the price u got is quite reasonable, some places i heard around RM 220-250 per sqft. Better quality, i think all those are sales talk, get a sample from the stone supplier and compare with their so called better quartz and also ask them to prove in what way is better.

Which one is cheaper between Solid Surface, Quartz and Granite surface?

Indian black galaxy granite is one of the top grade granites. It's the most dense & looks nicer. That's y it's more expensive compared to other granites.

From what I surveyed, thickness should be standard 1". You might see 2" that's because of the additional 1" skirting.

If me, if budget allowed, surely I'll choose the black galaxy. :-D

The cheapest is solid surface, RM100+ to RM200+. Quartz & granite depends on the color & quality. Granite is about RM200+ to RM300+. Quartz, there are RM200+ (Local) and there are RM600+ (e.g. Ceaserstone, Silestone brand) pfr.

Solid surface can get scratched, cannot put hot things directly on top. Normally people use at dry kitchen. Granite/quartz is heavy duty.
