I wanted to write about Spartacus and all the love scene but I am scared that my niece will read my blog. She and her classmates are frequent visitors leh. Hence I am thinking of dropping 18sx topic. Just want to focus on Suicides, murder and crimes. LOL.

I personally welcome debates and do admit that even our lot can be oversensitive when a manc raises controversial issues here. I never subscribed to the notion that our thread is only for us. The problem is there are a few posters on both sides who cannot use reason to overcome emotions.

Has the cow come home?

must we debate until kingdom comes?

there's no way you can change it.

suck it up and move on. Life goes on.

Isn't it natural to debate issues of controversy after a game? Not talking about something, doesn't change that it happened or makes it any less true.

Because, there are 2 ways of speaking.

To a chick: Excuse me girl, I cannot agree with your opinion. Let's agree to disagree, ok? No hard feelings
To a dude: Esh, go and fly kite far far la!!

LOL biggrin.gif

Then i would prefer you to treat me as the male counterpart telling me to fly a kite instead of using those pleasantries ok. I would be chatting in an american football thread if i wanted that laugh.gif

It's sometimes really hard to control emotion although most of the time people dont mean it. I myself is guilty also of over reacting sometimes. But it happens. We apologise and move on and enjoy football again. Let's hope that we play with the same mentality against Norwich.

Woah... Really heated debates going on. XD While it was a bad night for Liverpool and obviously all of us fans are upset with the way the game went on but I say just stop the mocking because I think there's enough of that currently with the whole MU and Liverpool fans in UK singing songs and chants.

Let's talk about the way the team and players played yesterday shall we? I think Liverpool was brilliant despite going down to 10 men and maybe this could be a blessing in disguise. Maybe the players and Rodgers can be proud and continue to build on this spirit knowing that we still palyed well despite going down 10 men.

Let's hope we can start winning soon. Desperately need it.

The mocking within this thread has to stop. It's bordering on the childish and disgraceful already.

Our team was hard done by the ref's decisions yesterday but we gotta move on, starting with WBA on Wednesday. If we keep playing like we did yesterday and with some luck, the wins will come. Maybe as what Paul Tomkins wrote in this link below, our season truly starts now.

Good post-game interview by BR. I like it on how he criticized mike hasley both on the red card and penalty. This is important for the players’ morale and for the future match against WBA and Norwich. I really hope he will bring up the refereeing issue before the match against WBA and Norwich. A good reminder to the FA and the referee and may influence our next game. Maybe even we can get a soft penalty after this.
Anyway, I still trust BR system and it will work. The players just need confidence and hopefully the backroom staffs can do something about that.

Our season really starts now. Lets see how well the team react to this loss and the injuries. It will only be tougher with serious tests ahead. I have every faith in Rodgers. YNWA.

Here's a review of the tactical side of yesterday's match for those who are interested.

I never say i dont care. I just dont bring it up nor do i use it as a weapon for mockery. Stop sulking too much bout the past. Remembering them in the heart is enough for some people. Not to you i can see. Cont your sulking ok.

Funny how you see it as sulking. I see it as respecting the past, and paying homage to it. Oh well, to each his own.

He accused me being not much of a fan because i dont see that those history are important. So i put it back to him. I didnt say it wasnt important. It is a history and ours was a legacy. It is important but just because they are doing the mockery there in england doesnt mean we have to be bashing the fans here about it. We dont really see much of malaysian doing such chants here so it doesnt plays much significance here. Its just that some fans sometimes got overly sensitives with whats happening there and bash other supporters for instance here. So i made some comments about it and a few jumped into conclusion saying i dont give honor to such important events. Some fans are just over hyping this and it just make the rivalry worsened in a bad way laugh.gif

It's got nothing to do with English. I suggest you read up on Hillsborough and Heysel and the tragedies that have befallen your beloved club like Munich and understand why they mean what they do to the fans. I'm pretty sure you have no idea what recently happened over the past two weeks and why a tribute to Hillsborough (and to a lesser extent Munich, with Bobby Charlton present at Anfield) took place. If you do, good, then you can give it a rest. Like Duke said it's got nothing to do with sulking. It was a tragic loss of life that could've been avoided. One that the fans and the club took the blame for, up until a week ago. It was an important moment in our history, just as much as the Munich disaster and MU winning 19 titles is in yours.

Don't come in here and claim to know better. I personally have had enough of your stuff over the last two days with the taunting, goading and boasting here.

and btw, noones bashing any fan about it, neither did I call you a lesser fan. i don't see any chants here in the lfc forum, so unless you're referring to the MU thread I wouldn't know. i just disagree with your opinion and the manner of your posts these past few days.
