z1, what happen if salah pasang? got problem or not?

On new EFI engine, fuel supply is cut on downhill. It doesn't burn lean, there's just simply nothing to burn. The combustion chamber temperature should not rise excessively just because of downhill high vacuum reading.

For carburettor engine, the lean burn may occur. Disengaging the gear on EFI engine will cause fuel to be injected again during downhill, wasting some fuel.

My 2 sen, the way it is installed on 911's car, the oil vapour will enter the OCT from ABOVE the filter. The filter will still stop the oil from entering the manifold directly, but as the oil accumulates gravity will pull the condensed oil to the chamber BELOW the filter, and be sucked back into the manifold.

That's the theory la.

The filter will still stop the oil from entering the manifold directly, but as the oil accumulates gravity (and effect of vacuum suction by Intake Manifold... ) will pull the condensed oil to the chamber BELOW the filter, and be sucked back into the manifold.

Ya...tiub2 tu kena tukar 1 sama lain supaya arah penghisapan wap minyak adalah ikut arah yg sempurna & betul...supaya tak senang dihisap kembali ke Intake Manifold iaitu engine.

Senang sekali ialah Sdr terbalikkan sambungan pada fuel filter tu saje....
