on my xtronic cvt, very responsive, continuous power thro out acceleration, rpm doesnt drop and no cut off power during gear change like manual or conventional auto cars..

nissan toroidal CVT only found on one rare model of skyline sedan. xtronic cvt are using belt cvt

this car have turbo right? probably the tuning is not good so when its in low gear it got feel .. high gear need to higher rev to get the feel.. anyway i haven test drive it .. but insaplah's ok la ..

you are right, but at 80-140kmh, its totally different.

i tried at 4th gear pull to 5500rpm. and then 5th gear, in insaplah ( must thank the SA for his patience, recommended by a fren of mine, otherwise i cant test for such a long time, spent like more than 1 hr)

definitely, really hard for me to drive fast on myvi, feels the car too fast. taking corner when >100kmh is too scary
i never drive preve yet but i drive persona before and the cornering (high speed) definitely better than myvi

so i bet preve must be better than persona at least

my review( actually is test drive experience, solely focus on speed ) is not a complete one. i'm more to the speed part, and i can see they look at insaplah, and improve on stuff that insaplah lack of. Such as the arm rest, the teh tarik hook, and the boot. that is a to them

I think u get his wrong... What he said.. Myvi vios feels fast but actually not fast.. Coz when u drive them fast.. U feel floating n sound comes everywhere make u feel the car so fast...

No feel.
Feel like at 100km/h.

Then those lala myvi and saga have to gtfo cause their car is flying.

TS not a neutral car reviewer, enough said... he just go test drive with target in mind to really bash no matter how good that car is ..

if not, he will use proper name for proton car and not pravia or insaplah.. typical malaysian ..

as TS say he is petrolhead, surely preve not to his liking (performance wise), i agree. preve is like a family car, not design for hard acc and speed. my petrolhead cousin say preve is a girl car as it doest not jerk or 'feel the acc' at all (of coz compared to his manual integra).

i own persona, preve is my sis car, inspira is my dads car and accord 2.4 (2005) is our family car.

preve is like luxury version of persona(comfort, feel, noise insulation) with improved power, nothing more.

accord>inspira>preve>persona. like the old saying, there is no replacement for displacement . and with a bigger displacement, a bigger built car with more luxury and comfort.
