not sure how u drive but for me..

preve cfe power is equivalent to low spec 2.0 car, not comparable to inspirar, but not that far off either. safe to say maybe like a 1.8 car

about the acceleration, being a cfe it doesnt feel the jerkiness of manual/4/5speed auto, even if using its pedal shift its very little, sometime, making a illusion car is slow.

when to overtake, drive aggresively, use the pedal shift/manual mode, or shift the gearbox to S mode. it will let car rev to 4-5k rpm for better acc. if in D mode, take forever to reach 120 from 80 acc in overtaking. but yes, even like this i do feel it somewhat slow, maybe due to illusion of a turbo engine should go faster...

and not sure about the cvt sound...

my friend bought one,

then got some weird sound from the axle, so sent back to proton,

after got it back now the parking sensor broken

hmm, even if compared with forte 1.6, the forte has more feeling in acceleration.

and when i checked the speedometer, i really struggle to push it. i hunt gear like crazy, and it will auto upshift even in manual mode, and its not very high rpm( i think 5xxx rpm)

in other words, even 1.6 forte are more willing to go up higher speed. ( but i must say, the gearbox in forte 1.6 6 speed is not bad)

the reason of sluggishness is to comply with european emission regulation, and the characteristic of cvt itself. try to compare with few other car with cvt transmission, then give us what you think.

inspira 2.0 is good..invecs III cvt is superb..
