hmm, even if compared with forte 1.6, the forte has more feeling in acceleration.

and when i checked the speedometer, i really struggle to push it. i hunt gear like crazy, and it will auto upshift even in manual mode, and its not very high rpm( i think 5xxx rpm)

in other words, even 1.6 forte are more willing to go up higher speed. ( but i must say, the gearbox in forte 1.6 6 speed is not bad)

the reason of sluggishness is to comply with european emission regulation, and the characteristic of cvt itself. try to compare with few other car with cvt transmission, then give us what you think.

I mean if you want to review car, please be neutral. Your choice of words and how you mock makes your review untrustable.

erm, compared to

Slyphy- slyphy is very smooth and very powerful at low speed, not so powerful on mid to high rev. ( ok, maybe its an uncle car)

Than you, Nissan currently have the best CVT in the market. Unlike other CVT in the market that use steel belt, Nissan use toroidal CVT which can withstand higher torque.

I believe if Proton use manual or conventional torque converter automatic transmission Proton can improve Campro CFE performance because currently proton is limiting Campro CFE torque number because of Punch VT-3 torque is limited to 220 Nm. Proton leave 15 Nm threshold to prolong the transmission lifespan

I'm not a market analysis, my knowledge is limited. But logically thinking people don't buy new car every year. Of course the market will fluctuate every year.
