their launching event much earlier than apple if to be compared

For Note, it was announced in Early September and only available thru celcos on November 11. Note II was announced on 29 Aug, just a few day earlier than last year, so maybe the timing of launching in Malaysia will be just earlier by few days.

But i think we all cross our fingers that it will arrive much sooner.

This is one area Samsung, HTC n Sony had to learn from Apple. All potential buyers just have to wait n guess prices n available date. When Apple announced a product it will be available n date always stated.

surely samsung cennot compete in Apple gadget hype, but when samsung do it, its always much better than previous 1 and most of us already know it..

this is not about gadget hype but rather planning of the release...

what is being said is that apple can already say what dates the phones will launch in what country when they announce iPhone 5.

the best Samsung can do so far is... "phones will be available real soon".

Will the delay of Note 2 affect potential buyers switching to , say the latest iphone 5 ?
Personally, I don't think so
NOTE buyers I view are in a different category as the NOTE main attraction is in the bigger 5.5 inch display and SPen functions which is obviously not found in the iphone 5.
I also see no reason why some should even consider buying either Note 2 or iphone 5 - such buyers i view as only geek buyers who just want to test the latest gadgets or they have just too much cash to spare and willing to spend

So if not iphone and note2, what is the most ***VALUE-FOR-MONEY*** android phone with 5" screen and proper android 4.x OS ?

Why we are contemplating between iphone5 and note 2 is which give a better value for money. Not like you mentioned here spare money to spend. Many ip users want to test out android and many android users want to test apple product. Why so difficult for you to understand? What matters most is also the pricing...not everyone afford to get both which is wishful.

Therefore considering both devices is perfectly fine. No maladjustment on it.
