Hello there fandroids. After disappointing iPhone 5 unveiling, I shall jump to the Android bandwagon. SGNII is my target. My only hope is the price is reasonable enough.
Sure cheaper than fruit5 Samsung Galaxy Note II LYN's Official Thread, It's coming on 11/10! AP sets here now!

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Sep 13 2012, 10:35 AM) Iphone 5 is not cheap. It will be available in Spore on 21 November . QUOTE :In Singapore, the iPhone 5 will be available without contract for a suggested retail price of S$948 (US$772) for the 16GB model, S$1,088 (US$886) for the 32GB model and S$1,238 (US$1,008) for the 64GB model. Those thinking to get it first in Spore, think twice as Msia telcos DO NOT support nano sim yet. So if you buy it use it only as a wifi only phone until our local telcos has such a nano sim available |

QUOTE(titi123 @ Sep 13 2012, 07:13 AM) Strongly agreed with you. Not much unexpected things on Ip5. i think sammy will have a good sales record again for note2... I was contemplating earlier between iPhone 5 and GNote2 though my heart said GNote2. I waited patiently to see what iPhone 5 can offer this time, and I'm disappointed as I anticipated a lot of innovative functions. So, GNote2 is the one. QUOTE(mydragoon @ Sep 13 2012, 08:27 AM) lol... actually, i was hoping the iphone5 would have some surprise announcement... but they din... :S Not an issue, my colleague is using GNote now and the size is just perfect for her. I have held for several times and at the same time another colleague is using S3. I love the S3 but I'm just very impressed with GNote2 and it has been my plan long time ago to give my iPad to my mum. anyway, my advice... do try out as in really hands-on with s3 and gnote and compare the size. coz really, gnote size is not really for anyone. but if you feel the size is right... then you can't go wrong with note 2. yes, i can dare say that even when the product is not officially available... coz having used s2, note and s3... i have no doubt samsung has improved alot! they really do innovate now... oh ya... apple/ ios now copy any new feature of android -- fragmentation... heh heh... As I prefer to have 2-in-1 device because I travel all the time. This post has been edited by fruitie: Sep 13 2012, 11:54 AM |

Anyway seeing not much improvement in the IOS software , I dont think i will be liking it too much vs the Note 2 |

everyone is so excited and so anticipated to get our hands on Note 2.
I have prepare to pay some penalty to cut the contract with DiGi expiring on Nov 10 if it reach here before that. Coz have pass my Note to sis-in-law, currently using Tab 7.7 which is really not ideal as a phone. Have been using it as phone for 3 days now and just find it not practical at all to use as a phone. Like un_id said, Note II FTW!!! |

After the reveal of ip5 which i spend my night with the live event... I b to sleep after they announced A6...
in term of innovation... I gv the medal to this note2... caz Samsung reinvent phone... PHABLET... and the s/w make it more like a computer (air view like what we see in win7) of course the insane hardware... but as a gnote user... I might skip... since the price is kinda steep for launching... and to me dual core to quad core does not really a huge leap... p/s:well guys... to get a bigger screen iPhone... we need to wait until ip7 and above... it will be LONGER... |

QUOTE(mydragoon @ Sep 12 2012, 08:35 AM) actually, i wonder if some users might just prep for LTE in MY and try to get the LTE version... provided same frequency... LTE already out (Singtel and M1) with frequency of 1800MHz in the central and http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_not...eview-811p8.php news is that LTE will start in 2013. see: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2375852/all LTE will be rolling out in SG sometime this month (first telco -- the rest... could be in 2013). maybe they may start to get LTE phones... and perhaps the frequency there will be the same as ours? Any1 has any idea about the camera's spec in SGNII ? e.g. Aperture bla bla bla ? |
