strangly i cant disable this dsp manager. usually even system app, can choose to disable one.

fine then just keep it there.

i'm not audiophile, any earphone/speaker sounds same to me.

can recommend a decent battery calibrator? my battery percentage is all funky. and my phone is on stock rom.

the free ones that i was using, just disappeared from playstore.

would it better if i get a new aftermarket battery such as andida, sun global etc? higher capacity ones, say, 2000mah?

Hi guys, I'm new to s2 custom ROM. Personally use galaxy nexus. I just help my friend flash from official ICS 4.0.3 to paranoid android 2.1. Rooted and cwm installed. But in paranoid 2.1 it seems very battery hungry. 50 % battery lost in 5 hours without doing anything and all background app were killed. Wads the problem ya? I have yet flash the kernel.

I checked the battery status and android os consumed the most battery.

experienced too much ICS on my nexus.. really familiar with its disadvantagesness.. lol.. any stable custom rom for S2 ICS can recommend? Cynogenmod 9?

actually paranoid android 2.1 its working fine and almost 0 bug... the onli downside so far is its battery consumption.. kernel cant fix it?

Well actually its huge different between ICS and jb. Its like from proton to Ferrari. OverAll smoothness, better battery management and many more. Maybe its not official jb ROM so u guys still have yet experienced the best jb experience. My personal opinion based on my nexus experience, no offence

my battery now also quite weak already.
already 1 year usage.

if not mistaken, battery retain 80% charge after 500 cycles.
i think i hit 500 cycles already.

last time i can get about 4 hours screen on.
now just 3 hours screen on time only.

want to look for original 2000mah battery from samsung but no sell in many places that i go.
in lowyat sep also dun have.

in garage sales got this guy sell scud battery.
still considering whether to buy or not.
would really prefer the 2000mah ori extended battery.

actually i lost all faith in non original batteries.

i actually bought a RM150 fake battery last year august.
the seller claim its the original one.

that piece of trash lasted several months before being completely useless.
0% capacity left and cant charge anymore.

i think the rm29 oem one is the same as the rm150 that i bought last year.

im using oem from brotan.
rm2x only.
so far comparable with stock battery.
been using for few month already.

yup. thats y i already blacklist those ORI battery long time ago for my phone.
i rather buy from trusted seller here than buy at shop.
feel more safe with their warranty and worthy for ur money also

Just saw this, a comparison of
galaxy nexus (jellybean) vs sgs2 (ics samsung rom)

the galaxy nexus practically slower in all aspect.

i think project butter only focus on scrolling/transition smoothness,
and no change in actual speed

in the 2nd video, can see nexus so much smoother in browser.
thats where project butter shines.

anyone carry spare battery wherever you go?
how do you guys take it with you?
directly put in your pocket naked seems risky, sweat may short the battery contacts, short it, and cause it explode.
