Saw Nikon KLCC got 2 D600 there but did not ask that guy for trying  tongue.gif

Maybe who is interested can go play see see.

The camera is small, more or less like a D7000, not much diff

Being a small body has its advantage, perfect for travel and more lightweight biggrin.gif but still pack a FF sensor inside.

I use a 85mm f/1.4D way before I got my 85mm f/1.4G, basically I didn't manage to do a side by side comparison. But my main observation is the 85mm f/1.4G is better in terms of focusing, the f/1.4D hunts more in low light and not as accurate as the f/1.4G, just what I feel based on my short usage on the f/1.4D.

Optics wise, I seen people doing side by side comparison. The f/1.4G basically looks 'sharper' (or maybe it is sharper) due to better contrast, less CA too! And maybe because hit rate is higher thanks to the AF-S.

Heart itchy now after reading review.

Thinking of getting 5100 kit as my first entry level dslr.

but probably nxt yr gonna release 5200 and I guess by the time, 5100 only cost ard 1700 with kit.

5200 kit i think initial realease gonna cost 2.5k judging from history.

I did a quick comparison with the D and G, one obvious changes are the contrast rendition. The G are more punchy than the D while at wide open, the G have better clarity and sharpness compare to D. I have yet to try the D in low light but obviously the G have an advantage on the focusing with AF-S.

Its entirely on your budget, personally, I would get the G smile.gif

use whichever one u buy first haha. at the entry lvl most of the models are just the same, only when full frame can really see difference.
so i will answer which have u used before and ask them to buy that. if never used, go kedai and use both, see which feels better and buy that one
