i want ask forummers,is it basic salary 2.5k is too low for oil and gas?i apply for qa/qc engineer and i am fresh graduates and with the salary, its enough for to live at kemaman?

is that fixed or got overtime?

normal

depends on the companies normally fresh salary for technical engineer with these range;

if PSC/Operator fresh will be 4-6k
if Main Contractor/Fabricator will be 3-4k
if Vendor/Sub contractor will be 2-4k

good answer.they are sub con.i juz ask bcoz my frens said cost living at kemaman juz like at KL,expensive.

normally how long you all wait after you know you got the job until offer letter came out?? 3 weeks already waiting...runsing

it really depends on the HR processing.....
mine took about a month before my offer letter came out...although had verbal notification......i still waited for their official offer letter....

OGCs......once in a lifetime hv to experience it....
payouts n benefit is fantastic...but it also comes with heavy load work n alot of mental stress

then again it depends which part of OGC u r in.....
upstream is nice.....downstream not too bad....i havent been through all of it though.....

upstream, hehehe, that why lorrrhhhh, everyday waiting in front of the phone, never silent the phone from the day they inform me....argghhhhhh.....

They do look for new engineers in Malaysia. They are expanding their base to Kemaman. Just send your email to the one listed on their website. I just give a call to their KL office. Give it a try bro.
