The two internships on jobstreet that you mentioned are too long for him. He will only have 2- 3 months time. Regarding the'issue', the hr told him that latest instruction from upper management is to restrict two interns per department. Maybe someone who is more qualified than him has already filled the two spots. (not sure whether what the hr said is true or they just want to turn him down haha) However, he was rather disappointed since they first offered him then turned him down a week later. That's life I guess.

Ranhill Worley Parsons are going downhill now. The company had recently retrenched a lot of staff. There's a rumour that a second wave of retrenchment is on the card soon. It's been badly managed by that inexperienced CEO, an orang putih.

Currently Petronas in process recruiting a lot of experience people for RAPID project....perhaps you can try if you wish to join them..

yes 6am is normal toolbox, no issue. but try working til 3+am 'taking a nap' for 2 hours then back up and the next day begins. 7 days a week

Oh man, in this case, the O  & G industy will be severely deprived of manpower.

I have been rejected for many times for applying internship in Miri. Now i realize that  it's hard to join without proper network/connection. I need to have my intern on 1st July and still finding now.

i stayed in Miri before during study years. the pay is horrible.
they hire engineers to do technicians jobs (contractors) and paying the engieners with tech pay.
most of my coursemates are working for them and accepted the technicians pay.

join client companies ok? Miri market is not good.
