Where I can get a few pieces of transparent resealable plastic bag for use of LAG item packing? I tried buying them but they are sold in bulks of tens, which is quite wasteful.

If you are a teacher and is planning to go to Europe, go apply for the International Teacher ID card. It cost RM21/year but it gives a lot of discount for tourist attraction's admission/ticket, sometimes even free admission. Considering how expensive the tickets for Europe is, the price is worth it.

That's if you are in United States. Go to the Malaysian website, that's where I got mine from.

For Safety, any powerbank should be in hand luggage. Some airport not allow powerbank in check-in luggage.

i'm traveling to tokyo this september, with a 15hr transit at Ho Chi Minh city on the way back. 15 hrs is loooooooooooooooong. and i don't want to be lying around in the airport the whole time. would it be possible for me to exit the airport, and return like 3 hours before the connecting flight?

if you not holding any transit visa, then you are not allowed to exit the airport.

15 hours is really long i suggest you to get a single entry visa..at least u get to check in a nearby hotel for some rest.

found this:

QUOTE
Most countries in the world, except for the US, UK and Canada, do not require a visa if you land in the countries just for transiting purpose. Vietnam is one of these countries, and does not require any transit visa, as long as you plan to stay inside the airport.

Note, however, international airports such as Hanoi Noi Bai Airport and Danang International Airport are rather small and not the best places for a light-sleeper. Therefore if you have an over-night transit, you might want to exit the airport and stay at a nearby hotel. In those cases, you will need a normal single entry visa.

Dei, wrong info lar.

Transit visa are only for those ppl who need visa in the first place. Then the country introduce a transit visa which is easier to apply for than a "full" visa.

For ppl who dun need visa (i.e. Malaysians enter Vietnam, enter SG, enter Thailand), u dun need to apply for the transit visa either.
