Hi, i wanna know where can i get resealable plastic in KLIA2?  Can someone explain about the liquid restrictions in hand carry bag ?
*
U can get it everywhere not just KLIA..Plus, not necessary must be resealable plastic. As long as they are packed nicely together can already.

-Maximum capacity of 100 ml.
-Each passenger is limited to only one transparent re-sealable plastic bag with a volume no greater than one litre and dimension no larger than 20 cm x 20 cm.

i'm traveling to tokyo this september, with a 15hr transit at Ho Chi Minh city on the way back. 15 hrs is loooooooooooooooong. and i don't want to be lying around in the airport the whole time. would it be possible for me to exit the airport, and return like 3 hours before the connecting flight?
*
if you not holding any transit visa, then you are not allowed to exit the airport.

15 hours is really long i suggest you to get a single entry visa..at least u get to check in a nearby hotel for some rest.

not sure abt that
but we dnt require any visa to enter VN for a period of 30 days
so if like that, im pretty sure passport is enough

yaya..the visa i mentioned was just for transit purposes..if don mind to stay inside airport, then definitely no problem..

Dei, wrong info lar.

Transit visa are only for those ppl who need visa in the first place. Then the country introduce a transit visa which is easier to apply for than a "full" visa.

For ppl who dun need visa (i.e. Malaysians enter Vietnam, enter SG, enter Thailand), u dun need to apply for the transit visa either.

ops sorry..got this info from my friend..maybe her experience was all from those visa-required country. wink.gif

Hey guys, I have a question regarding buying alcohol back from China.

If I travel to Shenzhen from Kuching via direct AA flight and come back the same way. Can I buy a 500ml bottle and put it in my check in luggage, and then buy another 500ml bottle from airport tax-free shop and get them to seal it for me to carry on flight (which they will, right?) ?

AirAsia rules and regulations are so confusing, and my friends who travel china regularly also cannot be sure...
*
yes you can put it inside for check in luggage..

for the one you put inside hand carry luggage, you can only buy it at the duty free shop after you passed the security and immigration.

thank you for the confirmation ! do you happen to know the limit to them? Like can I buy 2 or 3 bottles and put in the check in luggage? I know there's limit for duty free, but not sure on the check in luggage limit. smile.gif

You can pack as much alcohol as you like if contains less than 24 percent alcohol – think wine and beer. If your bottles have between 24 and 70 percent alcohol content, you can pack as much as 5 liters (1.3 gallons) in your checked bags, as long as the bottles you're using can be sealed.

Hi,
I am taking an airasia flight from KLIA 2 to Langkawi and back. I dont have any checked in baggage. Was wondering if airport security will allow me to carry perfumes and body sprays that measure more than 100ml in hand carry luggage.
