I do this all the time. sweat.gif
Maybe during take off and landing they might say don't charge. I know for those flights with USB ports in front (like MAS), we can't charge or plug any cable in during take off and landing.

Nope. Cannot. Finish all your liquid bought (unless it's sealed liquor) before 2nd security check.

After the 2nd security check only you can fill up your water bottles. I dunno why they don't sell water bottles after 2nd security check. Each gate has a water dispenser somewhere though. If packed then need to queue cause only 1 of the water dispenser can be used to fill even though there's 2 there (water pressure not enough).

Yeah that's why..was unable to find any shops selling water bottles after the 2nd check..mom had stomachache after drinking the water from dispenser last time. Guess will just buy on board then. Thanks.

I was doing my research for an overseas trip and I saw this in the customs list of prohibited goods:

QUOTE
Pen, pencil, and other articles resembling syringes.

Is this means that I have to dispose my pens before boarding the return flight?

Even if you have done online check in, you should reach KLIA 2 before 10.50pm (30 min earlier min) as the customs are relatively slow and the distance to boarding gate is very far.

International flight? Make sure you web-check in beforehand.

Do you have check in luggage? If you do, please be there latest by 10am. The queue to drop your luggage can be really long and slow. If I were you, I would be there by 9.30am.

If you do not have check in luggage, then you can be there around 10.30am, if 11am you will most likely have to be running already. Give yourself some time to walk to the gate and pass all the custom checks.

I have a weird question as I am flying to Changi soon (TigerAir) and I was wondering can I disassemble my desktop PC (except the chassis, of course) and bring it aboard in my hand carry (Mobo, PSU, GPU, HDD, RAM)?

P/S: Am moving to Singapore to work long term.

What's your advice if I am traveling with cabin baggage only and I need to bring my own shower kit (shampoo, liquid soap, toothpaste and toothbrush in a single package)? Pack my own with accordance of LAG rules or just buy such kits in pharmacies?

Why don't you check it in and label it fragile? Pay extra if needed to.

Either pack your own or buy the smaller containers of your toiletries from pharmacies.

It's not that difficult to pack your own. Just use any containers that are below 100ml and you are good. Toothbrush just bring any. Toothpaste buy a small tube.

It just means you're gonna burn the money you paid for the flight ticket.

Where I can get a few pieces of transparent resealable plastic bag for use of LAG item packing? I tried buying them but they are sold in bulks of tens, which is quite wasteful.
