QUOTE(rockpoper @ Oct 5 2012, 09:53 AM) Fake contest, Fake camera ads, Fail presentations, bashing other phone brands to advertise, how is that not a fail marketing? And how did the word "fail marketing" made you think I'm comparing with iphone? Good points there QUOTE(rockpoper @ Oct 5 2012, 10:27 AM) o.O At least we know how to win Nokia's competition next time LolXD This post has been edited by DavidWKW: Oct 6 2012, 11:05 PM

QUOTE(noorimanyosh @ Oct 7 2012, 08:31 AM) That contest was worldwide. And don't think there would be a contest in Malaysia until close to the release date which will be most probably December/January.

Getting Started

I hope Lumia will fix the image retention problem in most AMOLED screens - YES. The problem exists in all Samsung Galaxy's phone as well. Don't believe me? Just go to Samsung Shop or Nokia shop, check out the phone, open an app which display a full white image. Nokia is easier to spot by going into settings and change the background to Light. You definitely can see some dark spots, icons or the arrows. Galaxy Note and Tab is visible but not as contrast as Nokia due to their UI design.
Cant find this on iPhone and iPad though...

The Lumia 920 doesn't use AMOLED screen. Only the 820 does. 920 uses IPS LCD.

That's because apple uses LCD on their newer phones and all of their pads. Not sure about 3GS and older.

QUOTE(kuroneko0509 @ Oct 9 2012, 06:10 AM) looks a bit like black iPhone http://windowsteamblog.com/windows_phone/b...e-8-lineup.aspxQUOTE The Lumia 810 is an exclusive to T-Mobile. Inside you’ll get the similar specs as the Lumia 820 - 4.3” ClearBlack display and 8MP Carl Zeiss camera, etc. - but you’ll also get a 1.2MP wide-angle Skype HD certified front-facing camera that’s 720p video-capable, a long-lasting 1800mAh battery, and optimizations to make it screaming fast on T-Mobile’s 4G network. It’s coming to T-Mobile in black, but you’ll be able to swap out the case for different colors.

IF we have the option to get 810, I'll seriously consider it against 920. 4.3" screen fits me better (though it is a bit thicker than 920).

QUOTE(LightningZERO @ Oct 9 2012, 09:47 AM) Let the suing game begins? samsung was not found guilty of copying the exterior designs. they were found guilty of copying software IPs. No body would think that 810 is a iphone with the stark differences in the OS screen.
