i think lumia 920 will sell at 1600 and lumia 820 should b around 1300 +-
*
That would be VERY, VERY delightful!!! But a bit too low IMHO...

It is Nokia's Flagship...I'd bet it would be around 1.8k for 920 while 1.5 for the 820...

My prediction for 920 is between RM1,899 to RM2,099. For 820 / 810, it'd be between RM1,499 to RM1,699.

I will only consider 920 if it is below 2k, if not, I will go for SIII

The new Lumia will definitely not cheap..just look at its accessories!

Yeah prices should be around this price range only. If too high They're gonna lose customers. Probably a little lower for the 820. Around RM 1,399.

A bit impossible for the 820 to go lower, because 800 started out in that range. Well, it's only my prediction. I could be wrong biggrin.gif

Yeah and its my predictions only too. biggrin.gif oh and the accessory pricing revealed by Clove UK might be overpriced. They just announced the JBL PowerUp stereo and Monster Purity Pro prices and it is at £284.99 and £269.99. But the funny thing is the suggested retail price for the JBL speakers are only $299. That's $160 cheaper than what Clove UK is putting up. So we can conclude the other accessories are overpriced by Clove?

but the retail price of SIII is over 2k. are you trying to say that if the 920 and SIII are priced the same, you would pick the SIII over the 920 without having touched/tried the 920 and seen the full feature list of the WP8?

i think thats unfair to Nokia and WP8. Give the phones a try. Give the OS a try. maybe its worth being priced the same as SIII and iPhone 5 or maybe it isnt. but dont go ahead and make your mind up when neither WP8 or 920 is available in the market.

I am giving Lumia 920 a chance. That's why I still haven't bought a SIII and still waiting for official 920 price and launch date in Malaysia.

SIII current retail price is 2k, and I can get cheaper by signing up with telco (I still have not signed any data plan yet). As far as I know, SIII has got great reviews and have good ecosystems including apps. I have played my fren's SIII and so far is very impressed.

In contrast, Lumia 920 (and WP8) is still untested and unknown. I like what I've seen from the WP8 os and the Pureview camera. But I am taking a risk in buying into an unknown ecosystem. 2k is not a cheap amount to me so I would like to take time to see if I make the right choice.

What I'm saying is, I have not made any decision yet, but IF Lumia 920 is priced above 2k, I will most likely not buy one since to me, that's taking way too much risk with (relatively speaking) an unknown product.

Well, UK is affected by VAT, which should see it adjust for about ~20%. Also we can't make judgement based on certain accessories. Clove is probably betting on people to actually buy those along with their phone for "convenience". This is cross selling at its finest biggrin.gif

Unless someone is really free enough to compare item by item, we wouldn't know smile.gif

For Windows? You'll never need to worry about ecosystem, unless you're on a Mac smile.gif

Google's ecosystem pales in comparison against Microsoft's. Even Apple's is far behind, if ecosystem is what you care about.
