gripe on WP8. They must show the network indicator all the time instead of having me to press the top of the screen to see. i like to check how is the coverage. i also need the battery %. easier to judge the drain. things that can be easily changed with just a minor update though.

btw anyone has a replacement app for flipboard or something like it? cant seem to find anything in the store in the malaysian region. Also would like a dedicated twitter app.

Thx bro stringfellow. Rite now am not sure which would be a better choice. I use phone mainly for my business. My criteria would be a good batt life n good sms management as i received no less than 20 sms + whatsapp a day. Been thinking to get an ip5 but I read a lot of complaints in iphone subforum. Rite now im using lumia800 but i hate when I cant search previous messages by using a 'smart search' (not sure what it's called) like my old android where i can just search old messages just by putting a keyword. With lumia i have to go thru every sms 1 by 1

Added on December 22, 2012, 10:28 amOne thing i really like about Nokia is they produce a bulletproof phone. U dont have to worry if drop your nokia 100 times cos it will never breaks biggrin.gif

Yep true. I only wished that Nokia's bulletproof wisdom is shared among those android phone makers. I can still remember the days where after car accident, phone flew few yards away and still working or also drop in water, dry it, still usable biggrin.gif

whatsapp seems to working fine most likely cause i keep my data on all the time. sharing location with whatsapp is brilliant because its powered by foursquared which means plenty of POI. However i cant seem to share an existing picture in my albums. i choose a picture and then it goes back to whatsapp(shows the app is resuming) and then nothing happens. any fix for this?

windows phone is also the perfect stalker phone. I have a fren who I have FB and twitter contact which I linked all into his contact details. now i can see everything he has posted on both FB and twitter on his contact page. I also have a unified thread in my message inbox where by all sms and fb chat are grouped in the same thread. good stuff.

From the way you posted it, you seem to have grown comfortable with the Android ecosystem. Why not look for a durable Android phone then? Motorola Droid Razor Maxx HD?

The old Motorola is. The new one isn't. Try it first. I had a terribly bad experience with HTC Desire, but that did not stop me from getting the DROID DNA. The fault of the old Android phones lies with the operating system more often than not, not the hardware.

If you've decided that you're moving to WP8, make sure all your apps you use on Android now has its counterpart/replacement in WP8.

Personally I think that at this day and age, it's no longer about the manufacturer of an OS platform, it's more the OS platform itself and what it has to offer that determines whether the experience on that OS platform is pleasant or otherwise. You can have the most beautifully built device but if the OS platform does not offer much apps or engaging experience to begin with, the beautifully built device wont be remembered. Just ask Blackberry Playbook. tongue.gif

that's the tricky part, use Mp3tag to add album photo.
