healthy for human doesn't mean healthy 2 dogs...

dogs need 40% meat, 30% vege n 30% starch

so u need 2 add more meat....u can reduce r eliminate d brown rice n add chicken or pork meat instead...

btw...i really admire tat u cook for ur dog everyday... wub.gif

I agree with that.. dogs are carnivores.. it is better to let them eat more meat so that they have more energy and sometimes my JRT curi makan my sister's vege, somehow the next morning v see in his poo, those vege didnt even digest abit.. so in conclusion v think that dogs do are not able to digest vege's very well.. so pls include some meat in ur dog's diet. tongue.gif

How old is ur pup? JRTs r typically confident, brave n feisty. But u get all types ... shy isnt so bad, as long as he's not scared or timid. To boost confidence, make sure he gets plenty of outdoor activities n socialising sessions, mixing regularly with dogs, humans n kids. Don't perpetuate d situation by cradling/babying him whenever he's scared. Instead refocus his attention to an enjoyable activity or playtime.

Unless u wish to hv a guard dog, best not to encourage barking as a JRT cn b rather persistent in making his views heard. Given a choice, most wld prefer a quiet dog. A quiet dog is easier to handle, gives an impression of being well behaved n u cn bring him out to public n eating places. icon_rolleyes.gif

Puppies stool are usually not to hard becoz v tend to mix some water in their food so that its easier for them to digest. Try to maintain d water content in d food, medium is good, clear d extra water after the food is well soaked. Personally I want my dog to bark, only when is necessary, try not to encourage ur dog to bark too much, Barking uncontrollably can be a nuisance to other ppl. No worries all dogs know how to bark, n ur JRT is shy because he is still new, patience is everything n later u will learn what JRT is all about.. have a good time with ur precious. biggrin.gif

I would say u r quite irresponsible! Why u nvr reply Jason's adoption? U keep chasing me for Jason contact no, until Jason asking my wife every day if ur friend still wants the mix dalmatians! Do u know what happen to the mother n the puppies? Jason's elder brother and mother decide to dump them somewhere far away from the hse! Jason's mother even said that it's just a dog.. they can survive anywhere.. vmad.gif

QUOTE(hojeff @ Jun 25 2007, 11:00 AM)
Ronnie, it's not me. I have ask my fren to call up Jason and according to my fren he did. And he told him that he don't want the dog. In this case i was just the middle person. I even went to the extend to go together with my fren to go to have a look on the dog which took my 1.5 hours to reach from Setapak. I can't do much in this case.

Another thing was that after he told me that he don't want the dog i have already gave up on him. And stop looking for dogs for him. U need to understand too, i'm trying my best to provide home to those unwanted puppies too but i cant do much if my frens don't want it.

In another way, i do understand where my fren coming from, he felt cheated in a way when he saw the dogs. Your fren said that it's a dalmation mix but when we reach there what we saw is a dog with some little brown spots. So my fren just gave up.

I need you understanding on this. No better is your fren when he can't find a person to adopt his dogs, he just dump is somewhere far away from the house. This is truely to me a very irresponsible act! vmad.gif  vmad.gif . If he's not prepare to take care of the dog and forsee unwanted puppies when he take the dog home then he shouln't have take the dog in the 1st place. The living condistion for the dog is so bad ( u should go and have a look ) that the dog is put up in a cage in front of his house!. His dog don't even have a proper name, he just name his dog as 'ko-pi / Dog in chinese' or something like that! vmad.gif  mad.gif

Now you tell me, who is a more irresponsible person, not able to find a dog to take up the puppies or to dump the puppies and the mother when he cannot find a person to adopt the dog!

In this case I owe u an apology then.. because Jason has not been honest with us and in this case hes no any good of his siblings n mother as well. I feel so sorry for the condition n pls do say sorry for ur fren n all the hassle that v got him into.. Jason is going to pay tomorrow! vmad.gif vmad.gif

Btw, did u change ur contact no? Coz I've been trying to contact you and it seems there is no answer.. will call u again soon.

No worries....i just angry with Jason for him dumping the dogs when he's not able to look after it....this is a very irresponsible act...ask him will he dump his wife or kids if he having problem taking care of it....

If he;s not prepare to take care of the responsiblity in the 1st place then don't adopt it! A clear cute example of Cute Puppies case!

My mobile still the same. call me out for a yum cha next time okie....cheers..

Now I'm feeding Orijen, the stool is just nice, easy to pick up, yet not too dry.

Stools hard of soft depends on their diet lor.. sumtimes the food if v mix it with other things like boiled chicken breast n vege's, then the food got abit moisture, may make the stool abit soft.. sumtimes the dog kenot digest the food well also the stool might look abit soft.
