hey guys. im not sure whether this is the right section to ask. im planning to buy a rig. and my budget is around rm3.5k. my question is do any shops at lowyat provide credit card installment plans?
*
I'm also in the same boat as you. Have sent out few emails asking about this and these are the only replies so far.

PC Zone Computer:
No extra charge for CC, BUT
5% extra charge for installment of Maybank and Public Bank.
I got a quote from them for a 3.2k rig with a RM50 discount if you pay by cash rclxms.gif

All IT:
2% CC charge
3% AMEX charge
0% installment for Maybank, CIMB, RHB, Am Bank.

I just typed out their reply to me.
Although, by my understanding it should mean no extra charge for installment with the above CCs, but should include the 2/3% CC charge.

Best to call/email them and ask, since I have not followed up as I'm not buying the pc that soon.

a little refined spec for ur consideration

intel core i5 3450 rm579
asus p8h77m-le rm315
kingston value 4gb x2 rm126
leadtek gtx 670 rm1270
wd blue 1tb rm245
liteon dvd-rw rm60
silverstone st60-fp rm349
cm elite 431 plus rm159
intel 330 120gb rm339
ms windows 7 hp rm263

prices from all it (assuming u getting full rig doing epp payment)

the option in ALL IT is kinda limited like the psu and casing, prices are kinda high compare to others as well

first of all i wanna say is most oc board like msi, asus, asrock come with own oc software. those software are only to let u have an idea how far u can oc ur cpu, to play play, to test. those software isn't comparable to bios oc which is most stable and more option for u to tweak. for me i never use those software to oc. because of this reason, asrock z77 extreme4 rm4xx is a better go compare to this msi z77ma-gd65 rm6xx.

Swap the Thermaltake A80 to a Noctua NH-D14 for around the same price. This is a better one in terms of cooling and noise. Expensive air cooler>Cheap watercooling anyday.

For that, I'd rather top up and go for a XSPC RASA custom WC kit instead.
The D14 is on par with the H100, if not better in terms of cooling and noise.

u can get windows 8 for 15USD (RM50) if u buy windows 7, windows 8 ui is changed but there is ways to revert it back to windows 7

Added on September 2, 2012, 8:32 pm

MSI B75MA-P45 RM225
Gigabyte H77M-D3H RM319
Asus P8H77-M LE RM309

Prices from idealtech

If u dont plan to upgrade anything in terms of number of HDD, can just go with the MSI
btw what games u play?
*
Processor - Core i5 3570
Motherboard - ASRock Z77 Extreme4 (Prefer Heatsink at top of power phase)
Graphic card - Gigabyte GV-N56GOC-1GI
RAM - Gskill Sniper 8GB DDR3 1600 F3-12800CL9D-8GBSR
SSD -Gskill Phoenix 120GB 550 MB/s 510 MB/s
Casing - Bitfenix Shinobi
PSU - Corsair TX650M (In case i add on GV-N56GOC-1GI someday? )

I'm not a hard core gamer, but will do some games like diablo3 , guild wars 2, assassin creed?

How it go with this rig? I'm not sure about how the rig goes but i think it should be enough for me.
And i'm looking for desktop that high dura, SILENT and last long (better don't need RMA cases)

Is that a non K CPU? If yes, then you dont need that mobo. A H77 mobo will do. Value RAM will do also, as it does not give real life performance except on paper, unless if ur getting it to match the set.

Whats ur budget, if can fit GTX670, why not. Very future proof.
